What if in my first term I did, to the best of my ability, everything I said I would in my campaign, would you vote for my reelection? What if I went to the same university as "W" or Obama, would that change how you saw me? Why does where the person came from or who they hang with matter, as long as you agree with the message and they advocate the message throughout their term? A typical vice of American politics is the avoidance of saying anything real on real issues.
