Oh c'mon you guys kno that the communist threat was amped up to justify the expansion of the military industrial complex. Right? Communism has been tried and it has failed because of human nature. ( greed) what we are really talking about is a system that takes the worst of communism and the worst of capitalism to make some kinda hybrid global super transformer : ultra super comucapitolmegabot where 2 puppet masters rule and the rest of us drool. Even if they succeed they will fail...because that's human nature...and repeat..

True communism is when the govt (people) get to keep the interest payments from fiat cash. This money is enjoyed by the wizards behind the curtain. I don't think they'll just hand it over.

In a non-fiat, resource based scheme, where other forms of exchange are dominant, other communist govts are possible. But this debt based control is all about who keeps the interest.

So, no commies until resource or energy based exchange of value is evolved.

I wish people would wake up. They make you WANT communism. They promise you utopia through communism. Then, when you are fully absorbing what they promise, they give you nothing.

They only want to starve you into submission. If you do not submit and go along with their goals, they re-educate or kill you.

It's socialism you're referring to, no nation has ever successfully implemented true communism and probably never will. It's a utopia in theory and not realistic.

Unless you think Republicans are the same as Communists, then you certainly can't blame Communism for the erosion of our freedoms. As soon as the Republicans took control of the House all they did was introduce bills to take freedom away from women. Patriot Act, Homeland Security, TSA... all Republican inventions.

I had a good friend when I lived in the UK. He was working on his Master's Degree at the local uni. He escaped East Germany by sleeping in the woods...freezing almost to death...to escape detection. He crossed barbed wire and swam to his safety. He had 'help' from the other side to help him escape. He said if he'd been caught he would have been shot. Left behind every one of his family for a better life.

We still keep in touch, and my eyes well up with tears typing this.

Why call dictatorship communism? Dictatorship can very well come from your investors, banks, insurance companies or any multinational that pisses on you if they can.
