Vision Thing User ID: 2078628 United States 10/05/2011 12:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They like to play in the wind. I saw two young bald eagles yesterday, they found an updraft and were awkwardly playing with it. I was kind of pleased to be able to recognize that they were young by the gangly way they flew, not quite as assured, confident and graceful as their parents would have been. Think about it - there is a whole generation of birds out there right now that was fledged this summer, it's been dry all summer, hasn't really rained at all, these young birds are on their own for the first time and flying well just recently - maybe they have never flown in the wind and rain before! Isn't that a cool thought? I am just south of you, just over the border on the coast too. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 2567862 United Kingdom 10/05/2011 12:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | was out working today (courier), and thought exactly the same grey dreary day here, drizzling, breezy, and crows, magpies, pigeons and even SQUIRRELS for some strange reason were going nuts for a short time. in a five minute period, I saw loads of birds, and 4 or 5 squirrels as I was driving around. never see that, normally. normally I'm lucky to see one squirrel a day. yes, i know it's THAT time of year, but i've never noticed anything like that weird 5-10 minutes this morning. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1395218 the birds energy fields are all messed up as the future imprint of all the chaos, death and destruction is wigging them out. Did anyone ever tell you that your answers are slightly blunt? |

But I will try, the kids asked me to video all the action so I may go do that, stay tuned. :) It is definitely not the norm here though...birds are not normally this agitated and busy. And it is a mixture of crows, robins, stellar blue jays, chickadees, and maybe some others, but a big mix. The constant whizzing back and forth, up and down swooping is what is so strange. Like this does happen from time to time but yesterday it was steady all day until dark and then it was on again from first light this morning. Will go see what I can do with my camera... |
Canuckchick (OP) User ID: 1514195 Canada 10/05/2011 01:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I know the sunshine coast well, verrrrrrry well. All the birds are crazy here, and I'm not talking bout the ones that fly in the sky Quoting: blinden Haha I can agree that there are many crazies here!! I don't include myself in the crazy category though...tend to avoid most people here! I just like the scenery and the quiet, calm environment...not a fan of the people. Very conservative minded here, alot of mean-spirited types who are all about me me me and money money money. Would be cool if there was an occupy sunshine coast! :) |

There is something odd about the energy of this place, and most people here seem to be 'stuck' in it.....as if we were all writhing around in a pit of mud. However, there are still plenty of good folks here who strive for a higher quality of life, which is more about love and companionship rather than loads of money and attitude......like me |

Canuckchick (OP) User ID: 1514195 Canada 10/05/2011 02:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes fairly new to the coast, needed a quiet place to settle with my kids and have been over here lots on trips and thought it would be a good fit for us. Hate the cities but like to be close enough to visit, and this was decent travel time to Vancouver. Some of the women here have been huge bullies to me, other parents mostly. And judgemental. Harsh. All because I do not follow the status quo and choose what is best for my kids rather than what is preached to me to be best for them. And I had some problems with a bunch of baptist bible thumpers here, the most judgemental of all! crazy, i am not even religious and yet i have a kinder more christian outlook to others than the bible thumpers! but that all was more when we first moved here couple yrs back, much better now that we live pretty isolated, homeschool, and have a very small select circle of good, decent friends. still have run ins with some of the arseholes (especially some of the bus drivers! argh!) but mostly life here has taken on a calm, quiet and lovely little existence. |

Quoting: Canuckchick bible thumpers...yikes! Well, you seem like a grounded enough individual who's able to hold their ground, and as far as I'm concerned, you're doing it in the right place...despite it's glitches. Welcome, and maybe some day we will run into each other in person, finding out afterwards that we bumped into each other here first.....which really is something that makes me chuckle to myself, when I think about it. |
Canuckchick (OP) User ID: 1514195 Canada 10/05/2011 08:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You never know...if you meet a single homeschooling mamma you will have to slip GLP into the conversation. :) I think the coast is a really good place to survive any of the potential coming disasters. We are far enough away from the city to not have too many worries about the mental crazies or looting that will flow from the city, and doubtful any of those types would try and get over the water to here. And the nutters we already have here are fairly calm for the most part. And as far as earth changes/doom we live really high up from the ocean (I have a great view though!) and I also think vanc island offers us some protection as they would get the brunt of whatever happened. Plus so much self sustainability over here already, I honestly think the coast would do ok with food and life in general if a huge doom scenario happened. So ok all you mainland neighbours, make plans to bug out over here to the coast SOON! You will be happy you did. :) Oh and the birds are still going NUTS here... |

And it is a dismal, rainy, stormy day so it is weird they are even out and about let alone all aflurry this way! Quoting: Canuckchick OMG, thank you so much for posting your observations! I was just going to post about same thing happening here today ... and we also had bees going wild too this morning. [[ People -- in contemplating meanings of these things such as what is reported here, I believe we may be seeing very clear WARNING SIGNS!!! ]] Canuckchick's description fits exactly what I & friend saw here at my home that's out on border of the countryside in far western side of Dallas-Ft Worth (Texas) Metroplex today ,,, the birds were in large groups flying like kamakazi pilots (and a few were flying about crazy on their own - isolated) ... it was like totally nuts! Weirdest was when the big groups would all swoop down and zoom low past windows, somehow dodging trees but going way faster than I've ever seen any birds fly,,, and it would at times be like a dark cloud sweeping by & filling the entire yard down below the trees! We watched out windows amazed ... and some groups would be doing opposite directions and they would all be every which-a-way at same time w/ loops, up & down,,, ---> it was mind blowing ... we watched all this for hours this afternoon - all over the place! Since evening, all has became calm since getting towards dark now. At same time this morning when birds were going haywire, I discovered that there were groups of bees doing same types of behaviours around the house after going outside to do some chores .... the bees were zooming in circles up & down and it was continous, like they were disoriented; some would try to land on my body just to rest (seriously --- have never seen these sorts of strange activities in natural wildlife & insects like I have witnessed today!!) Our weather was dry (still in most severe drought EVER in Texas) but did have some light winds from south to north & it was increasing humid as a storm system approaches from western USA towards Texas in next 24-48 hours; also sky had strange puffy chemtrail type clouds w/ lots of falling chaff intermingled with a higher, thin 'artificial' strata above ... friend & I both noticed the clouds early in day = wonder if a sign of HAARP activity? My thoughts regarding birds were that this might signal POLE SHIFT - MAGNETOSPHERE CHANGES were at hand ... and also now recalling that GLP + other forums (we don't get to link I don't think due to old stupid feuds which is silly now we face TSHF & TEOTWAWKI for real!!) have had threads about very powrerful & unusually bizarre Solar - CME activity over past week, even more of them just in past couple of days ... going to find links // Okay, back & via Google search have just found this 1 here below for starts - check out if not yet seen it: Un-edited Footage Of Planet Sized Comet Hitting The Sun, 2nd oct 2011 Thread: Un-edited Footage Of Planet Sized Comet Hitting The Sun, 2nd oct 2011 |
