OP, no head ache today. Didn't change the protocol but I ran for 45 minutes on my elliptical machine this morning. Worked up a good hard sweat and felt great. But what i didn't do this morning was have a 2nd - 4th cup of coffee. Drank green tea instead.

All the pop I was drinking was making my ph balance go acidic from the carbonic acid. It was taking its toll, my health sucked.

I just wanted to add a powerful protocol (I am the OP here posting from work camp).

My personal testimony is as follows :

In 1996 I was crushed in the make up tong on a drilling rig. It actually 'popped' my spleen, and I would spend the next 4 days lying in a hospital bed slowly bleeding to death. The surgeon did a CAT scan and discovered there was a 1/2 cm rip in the spleen, but I could not naturally clot it.

On the fourth day they operated, and the spleen was basically dissolved and in pieces. I knew then that anyone without spleen function is highly suspectable to colds, flus, and other ailments on a greatly increased basis.

And I did recover, however I did exhibit all the signs of a partial or non functioning spleen. I was sick constantly, and during the winters I would dry hack and cough through most of the winter. Finally one winter I had a very nasty cough, and was sick for a considerable time. After a couple months of incessant coughing I finally took some anti-biotics. It only lessened the cough but did not remove it.

So on my drive home I heard about oil of oregano, and how some lady cured some ailment with it. I drove straight to Wal-mart bought a bottle of it for $35 and proceeded to take it. In two days my cough was completely gone.


However I didn't write this to promote Oil of Oregano - it works great is a broad spectrum antiseptic - but for me it gave my sensitive head headaches.

However the most potent cleanse, and keep clean I have ever experienced is a follows, and remember to listen to your body if you feel discomfort lower your dosing or stop.

10,000 - 15,000 IU of Vitamin D, and
2 tsp of Cinnamon (in whatever you can find to get it down.)

Why I am such a GIANT fan of this simple protocol is that it doesn't present a 1-2 punch it cleans out about 5-6 different things in the body.

The Vitamin D will greatly enhance your Immune system, and if your levels of Vitamin D are high enough viruses cannot penetrate the cell membranes and slide off like teflon.

The second big one is Cinnamon. It takes out Candida Yeast infections, reverses diabetes, is a colon cleanse, a cognitive enhancer (smart drug), takes out ecoli- and parasites.

So between the two your smoking out your viral load, and also your parasitic, fungal, and yeast loads.

I don't get 'colds' and 'flus' any more. I might sneeze, but that usual coughing I cannot tell you when I unless I go back in time far enough prior to the Vitamin D / Cinnamon protocol..

I hope this helps everyone in this forum have a life free of colds and flus and bugs especially those of you who are suspectible as I am :)

I tell ya what, I've been struggling with my energy level for years and every blood test says there's nothing wrong with me. But I've been crawling into bed every chance I get throughout the day cuz I am that tired. I don't have energy to workout like I did years ago, in my early 30's and energy is something of a daily struggle. Even the doctors said they couldn't help me. I walked out of there in tears cuz I didn't know what to do with myself. No one should have to feel like that. I'm willing to give anything a shot at this point. I have to lose 50 lbs. Funny, I have a package of dried seaweed I've always reserved for special holidays, I make a soup out of it, and it's rich in Iodine. I'm gonna start eating more of that on a daily basis. And of course, Vitamin C... thank you so much for sharing this!

Of course there has to be a down end to this - and the one that I have experienced is cinnamon is ground tree bark as I understand it - stools may present a bit of discomfort passing it.

How do you know your body isn't tired fighting a yeast or fungal load? They rarely test or treat for it. Try the cinnamon and see if that helps you clean up. Especially if you are experiencing 'brain fog' - it completely removed my brain fog so :)

I have taken 3 days worth of high levels of Vitamin C (between 2.5 and 3.5 g per day) and high levels of Iodine (between 2100 and 3000 ug per day), and at this point, I have really nothing to report.

The second day I had a minor headache, but that didn't last. No excess energy yet, no weight loss, no decreased appetite, etc. I know it takes time for my body to react, but I find it interesting just how deficient my body must have been to be soaking up THAT much Vitamin C and Iodine!

I'm hoping to lose weight (obviously), but I'm also hoping to stop losing so much hair...My thyroid was just tested and I'm in the normal range, yet I lose SO much hair every day. My nails are also brittle and one splits down the middle, so I'd love to see a change there as well.

How are those who have been supplementing longer doing?

My cholesterol is really high also and I thought I'd research whatever I could find on lowering it. I read somewhere, it might have been on Dr. Mercola's website, that Red Yeast Rice acts just like a Statin in the body. If you don't take CO Q-10 along with it, it can be dangerous. You might want to look into it!

Ok, day two on the protocol. no coffee no headaches. Green tea and 30 hard minutes running. Feeling fine. However, If i am getting an increase in energy, increase must be very subtle. Doing the Kelp 1500 mcg, V-C 1000 mg, cinnamon, ACV, and D-3. Also continuing multi vitamin MegaMan over 50, Omega 3 fish oil. What am i missing for maximum health and wellness?

Years of drinking coffee why am now getting headaches from the stuff? I never much cared for soda pop so thankfully soda isn't a problem. I drink water, beer, red wine and now green tea... thats it.

OP, QUESTION: when you say you take vitamin D, are you referring to vitamin D3?

Just eat less. I can't believe all the books and pills people buy into looking for an easy way. The easiest way is to develop good habits and eat less. You don't need 4000 calories a day!

Go for 30 min power walks, eat good 80% of the time (allow yourself treats once in a while) and eat normal amounts (don't stuff yourself) and you'll never have a weight issue. It takes about 3 weeks to develop a habit. Stick with it and you'll get it. Finally, loss the weight slowly and it won't come back when you eat a piece of pumkin pie.

Just eat less. I can't believe all the books and pills people buy into looking for an easy way. The easiest way is to develop good habits and eat less. You don't need 4000 calories a day!

Go for 30 min power walks, eat good 80% of the time (allow yourself treats once in a while) and eat normal amounts (don't stuff yourself) and you'll never have a weight issue. It takes about 3 weeks to develop a habit. Stick with it and you'll get it. Finally, loss the weight slowly and it won't come back when you eat a piece of pumkin pie.

I do hardcore cardio (kickboxing, and not "cardio kickboxing"; the real deal) 6 days a week and I weight train 3 days (3 of those 6 days I do TWO workouts). I drink only water and plain green tea. I eat fairly well and when I eat junk, it's only things I've made myself.

When I first started working out so hard, I dropped 3 sizes and 12 lbs...and stayed there (and it's been over a year and a half). Even with low carbing, I would drop 10 lbs at first, then stop completely.

This thread is more about those of us with thyroid issues (even undiagnosed, like myself), not necessarily those simply looking for a "quick fix." For the average person, your advice would work...for me, I couldn't even maintain my current weight and size with a 30 min power walk and eating well 80% of the time (though I certainly wish I could!).

Day four, no aches and pains. Halfway through my second workout, I got an unusual burst of energy. I don't know if that was thanks to the supplements, but I'll take it! :)

Give it some time, it may have to push out an accumulation of other heavy metals filling the receptor sites in the Thyroid, before you see much if any difference.

Yep its always hormonal, and if your body climatizes to the work out then your hormonal level could stabilize at one level.. Thus no matter what you do from there you might not be able to loose weight other than starving yourself in which cash muscle will be shed with the fat.


A big evidence that hormonal levels count are pretty obvious and in your face in affecting weight, and body fat levels only need to look at steroids.

Hi OP! Today is the first day of taking these pills. I did notice a feeling of nervousness and fast heartbeat come over me for awhile. I think I'll back off that dosage quite a bit because now that you've pointed it out, it does seem a little extreme. No wonder the sales lady was losing alot of weight! I think I'll go ahead and order the trophic instead, it might be safer. One thing that is really strange is it said you could safely up the amount to twice that but to build up to it. That would be 60 mg of Iodine a day. I wonder if it becomes toxic at that amount? I'm surprised they are allowed to sell it!

Yah that is pretty strong, you could always take the pills apart and take like 1/10 of a pill a day would put you at 3000 ug, if your trying to save some coin. That's pretty high definitely. Any time your heart is racing the protectorant for all accelerants is Magnesium (so so important) So if your accelerating with juice, or ephedra, or large dosing caffiene etc etc don't forget your Magnesium!

Hi OP! Today is the first day of taking these pills. I did notice a feeling of nervousness and fast heartbeat come over me for awhile. I think I'll back off that dosage quite a bit because now that you've pointed it out, it does seem a little extreme. No wonder the sales lady was losing alot of weight! I think I'll go ahead and order the trophic instead, it might be safer. One thing that is really strange is it said you could safely up the amount to twice that but to build up to it. That would be 60 mg of Iodine a day. I wonder if it becomes toxic at that amount? I'm surprised they are allowed to sell it!

I take a drink of water, hold it in my mouth, then use the mirror to watch myself drop between 7 - 10 drops. Swallow, and drink more water. I am taking a much higher dose of iodine, though; each drop is supposedly 300 mg (don't quote me on that; that info is either on page 4 or 5).

Why do people spend to much time and money on weight loss.

Just eat less. I can't believe all the books and pills people buy into looking for an easy way. The easiest way is to develop good habits and eat less. You don't need 4000 calories a day!

Go for 30 min power walks, eat good 80% of the time (allow yourself treats once in a while) and eat normal amounts (don't stuff yourself) and you'll never have a weight issue. It takes about 3 weeks to develop a habit. Stick with it and you'll get it. Finally, loss the weight slowly and it won't come back when you eat a piece of pumkin pie.

Ahh, if only it were so easy.

I do hardcore cardio (kickboxing, and not "cardio kickboxing"; the real deal) 6 days a week and I weight train 3 days (3 of those 6 days I do TWO workouts). I drink only water and plain green tea. I eat fairly well and when I eat junk, it's only things I've made myself.

When I first started working out so hard, I dropped 3 sizes and 12 lbs...and stayed there (and it's been over a year and a half). Even with low carbing, I would drop 10 lbs at first, then stop completely.

This thread is more about those of us with thyroid issues (even undiagnosed, like myself), not necessarily those simply looking for a "quick fix." For the average person, your advice would work...for me, I couldn't even maintain my current weight and size with a 30 min power walk and eating well 80% of the time (though I certainly wish I could!).

Day four, no aches and pains. Halfway through my second workout, I got an unusual burst of energy. I don't know if that was thanks to the supplements, but I'll take it! :)

If you really have a thyroid problem then just get some T3.
