Thanks for posting this. I almost couldn't believe it when I read your post - talk about synchronicity!

I recently started a similar regimen hoping to jump start some weight loss and improve my health. Mostly I want to feel my best as often as possible. That's my main health goal.

I'm taking kelp supplements for the iodine - 650 micrograms twice a day. I also take a tablespoon of virgin coconut oil and a tablespooon of organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. My energy is through the roof and I'm sleeping better at night. I've been doing this for only about a week and a half. I added these to my old regimen of magnesium oil, 5000 IUs of vitamin D daily, and my multivitamins.

I found once adding the kelp, coconut oil, and ACV that I was having flu-like symptoms off and on (a cleanse reaction?) which went away when I added some milk thistle and a good probiotic.

I took a base weight on 10/1 and have decided to give it a month before I follow up with the scale so as not to become unduly discouraged. My clothes fit better already so I believe it is working.

Thats a nice mix. I remember I was working the one job and a co-worker was heavy into his drugs. Was was interesting is he could always pass his blood test because he ingested quite a bit of vinegar prior. And he also noted the weight would just FLY OFF!!

I have a bottle of kelp but its so fricking nasty to eat I have to eat it raw. I find in water it smells so foul!! The Kelp sheets you buy are actually tasty as is too.

I'm a GIANT fan of the Vitamin D also, if you google the Vitamin D council you'll find their site if anyone disputes that taking that level is not safe. It boosts your immune system big time! I don't count them I just grab a good amount in my hand 15-20 and take them! But I don't do this every day, maybe every second or third day so its basically similar.

I find my body will heat up significantly after a Vitamin D ingestion, I will even start to sweat. But I always feel REALLY good on it - btw it boosts serotonin yahoo!! Since it activates 5% of your DNA, or over 2000 genes there are many many many things that it is doing, and I think our propeller heads could study it for the next 100 years. Too bad so much of the research is profit controlled.

Same with me I have the coconut oil on the counter too - its actually another very powerful anti-viral, and a weight loss method.

The cinnamon is a MUST - for me. Vitamin D won't push out a Canadida yeast infection (producing a neurotoxin, and infecting anyone who ingests North American beef!) but cinnamon will! It is also a strong treatment for bugs and parasites in the gut, as it treats everything from ecoli and so forth. I also noticed it greatly helped with mental clarity, memory, focus and other beneficial side effects.

No subsititute for exercise though its still king for feeling good!
