well.......this certainly has motivated me to go back and start with the iodine as i already do the vit c,D,brewers yeast, apple cider vinegar, a pinch ofgood sea salt with water etc-
but have been having too much detox headaches when taking more than a drop of the 2% lugols -can go about 3 days and WHAM it hits and hits hard--was very happy though with iodines "expectorant" qualities though--effortlessly hacking up years of bronchial JUNK.

thyroid crapped out about 10 years ago and man, what a you know what as those synthroids or levoxyls are a poor substitute for how i once felt and looked--packed on about 30pounds by now and i'm not too happy about this either.
Now i know how people joke about simply looking at food and gaining weight . I'm still very active etc but nothing is moving the fat.

thanks for the info and thanks for the pure happy joyous motivation to once again try and improve my health
as I most certainly do believe in nutrition and supplementing in a natural way !

Sounds like if a single drop of lugols is causing severe headaches days after the fact then its pushing out heavy metals and those are being 'stirred up'...

I am suspicious combined with you coughing up 'junk' that you need a heavy metal detox.

Don't worry the fix is easy and cheap, you don't have to go visit a tibetian monk for the cure.

Its Cilantro you can buy at your local grocery store. In facte anyone in this forum with Amalgam fillings should look at Cilantro for a cleanse as apparently it brings out the heavy metals from the body and even across the DMSO barrier (Blood brain barrier) They recommend you eat lots of it for about three weeks.

Maybe there is some good Cilantro salad recipes!?
