Re: My Weight Loss Secret - TRH/T3/T4 Hormonal Tweaking
OP, how long did it take you to lose the 30 lbs? You mentioned it being a short amount of time, and I'm curious. Also, what dietary changes/lifestyle changes did you make during that time?

I'm nearly 30, am roughly 40 lbs overweight (though aiming to lose 30) and have been losing and re-gaining the same 10 lbs for a year and a half now. I have an intense exercise regimen and have been super faithful with that during that year and a half. My eating has been fairly good; obviously there's some junk in my diet that needs to be eliminated, but really, I should have dropped at least 20 lbs by now.

My thyroid was tested just last week and my doctor says everything's in working order. I'm going to test your suggestions out, and I'd LOVE to see results.

I think I'll be adding cinnamon as well, since I have a wicked sugar addiction. Thanks for your help in this! hf

It was pretty quick, but I wasn't really keeping track of anything. I just hit the treadmill tons on a regular basis - cardiovascular exercise is IMHO the number one exercise for shedding weight. I'd put it at about 2-3 months and the weight was gone, but I'm going off memory here. But what was interesting was I was taking lots of Iodine and lots of Vitamin C.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2686577

Interesting; thank you!

I bought Trophic and Vitamin C this morning. I've taken 3.5 grams of Vitamin C and 10 drops of the Trophic. Is that a good amount of iodine? The bottle says there is 6.25 mg per millilitre.

Three hours after taking it, I have nothing to report. No headaches, no increase in energy, etc. I'm hoping to notice an energy increase; I don't even know what "energy" feels like anymore!

MAN,

I went out and bought a few supplements for getting my heart and arteries healthy.

I paid:

1) Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 120 soft gels 1000mg =$49.95

2) Solgar CoQ-10 60 soft gels 400mg= $45.96

3) KAL Red Yeast Rice 60 tablets 1200mg = $37.19

4) Nature's Way Cayenne Extra Hot 100 capsules 450mg = $10.49

Total $142.61

I definitely need to find some place cheaper!
 Quoting: ibis ghost

Yep that is definitely expensive - sure its going to work however I would consider finding an alternative cheaper source - for all of it, and the Red Yest Rice I owuld not have bought, nor the CoQ-10. For immune system support I simply take 10,000 IU's of Vitamin D and a couple teaspoons of Cinnamon. Believe me it will work more potently than anything out there. Vitamin D is safe at those dosages, and you can google Vitamin D council to check out the research for yourself.. I know for the Cayenne Pepper I just buy in bulk from the local grocery that is a bulk carrier, they have the larger bottles of it for a lot less, and after about a week you get pretty climatized to it if your eating it on a regular basis.

6250 ug / millimeter is equal to 20 drops, if you divide it in its about 300 ug a drop or about twice the RDA. I had stuck with about 250 ug / drop but this approximation is a tad low. If you wanted to go to 3000 ug you would take about 10 drops of the trophic in the morning.

Different people are going to experience different results, some people have taken Iodine and noticed no discernable reaction at all. However I would not give up hope as over time the Iodine is going to displace heavy metals that could be filling up the iodine receptor sites in the thyroid cells. Additionally you have to realize that if your have had a lifetime of fluoridated tap water chances are it has calcified the pineal gland, and that is the signalling gland for a myriad of functions. If you concerned at all about a heavy metal detoxification then consider eating lots of cilantro a very potent and reliable heavy metal detox - including removing heavy metals from the brain (aka kids with adhd from the MMR 18 month shot)..

I really appreciate you doing the math for me; my brain is useless when it comes to that stuff! :)

I'll stick with the 10 drops of Trophic for the first little while and see how I feel. I'll also continue with the 3.5 g of Vitamin C.

I'm fortunate to live in a city whose water supply is not fluoridated, and I switched to non-fluoridated toothpaste 3 years ago, but I do drink a fair amount of green tea (and I hear that contains fluoride). I will be adding in cilantro, though, so thank you for that tip.

For those who have been trying this method these past few days, how do you feel? Any changes in any area?

I am a 50 year old female, who has gained a whopping 41 pounds this past year. I seem to have completed the change of life, and the scale has not budged even low carbing. In the past I was always able to lose weight low carbing, not this time.

I admit this past year has been life altering for me and I resorted to a lot of comfort eating (husband diagnosed with cancer). Turned my back on the low carb life style I maintained the previous 10 years.

I started this morning on the protocol. I am using Nascent Iodine, which is 400mcg per drop, so I put 4 drops in 4oz of water, and took 3 capsules of Vitamin C 1g each for a total of 1600 mcg of iodine, and 3g of vitamin c. I reluctantly weighed myself this morning and I will report back in about a week or so to see how things are hopefully progressing.

Thank you OP for this thread, it's worth a shot.

But that is not the best effect I have had, since I was 28, my hair has been getting thinner and thinner. Any way it is thickening up, even my husband has noticed this. Wow I have spent thousands of dollars trying to regrow my hair and all I needed was iodine. A big thank you to OP.catdancecatdancecatdance

Everyone always asks whats the best method of ingesting Cinnamon - I found mixing it in yogurt, or porridge the best. Another that is good is in your protein shake. I wrote another anecdotal paper on the cognitive effects of cinnamon from the coumarin that is in it.

If a person is interested in cognition protocols in general check out brainmeta.com

Good luck!

I once tried to read a scribd.com article and it (scribd) wanted me to agree to several things first including allowing it (scribd) access to my data files. ??? I clicked cancel and the thing tried to take over my files/PC anyway. I had to shut down my comp. quickly. It was insane. It also wanted to link me to facebook.
The whole experience was quite strange. I have visited scribd before and did not encounter this problem, so this is new. Anyone else with the same experience?

Re: My Weight Loss Secret - TRH/T3/T4 Hormonal Tweaking
"When there is excessive iodine intake in the human body the thyroid gland starts to overproduce thyroid hormone and when this happens the bodies autoimmune system starts to attack and shut down the thyroid gland to a point where it actually causes hypothyroidism if you have an underlying potential for hypothyroidism such as a family history of this disease. On the other side of the coin if you are pre-disposed to either Grave’s disease of nodular goiter then too much iodine can cause hyperthyroidism. A healthy thyroid gland handles excessive iodine intake by controlling how much iodine it takes in and last with Hashimoto’s too much iodine intake will cause your thyroid gland to slow down thyroid hormone production even more than it already is."

I hope this helps you a lot! For the husband if I was him I would do the following - any MSG consumption (processed soups and or salad dressings) will spread the Cancer like wildfire so its a big no no. The big protocol to check out is the Budwig Protocol, basically its cold pressed flax oil, and cottage cheese. Budwig was given a noble peace prize in medicine in the 50's for this if my memory serves me correct, for her research into improper cell division caused by an electrolyte deficiency. The other big one is BOOST HIS VITAMIN D INTAKE TO 10,000 IU / day. Its going to boost his immune system hugely, and you need that when fighting cancer. Finally consider a diet of Raw Cabbage as much as he can eat. Doctors were curing Cancer patients in the 50's with Raw cabbage, when they did some research they found it contained Vitamin U. So they isolated the Vitamin and then studied it to see if it would cure cancer - the result was false! The secret to the healing power of the cabbage is there are literally dozens upon dozens of nutrients and minerals in it - which empower the body to heal itself.

It is also import to consume Laetrile where ever you can find it - it is contained in apricot seeds, and ditch grass. Known as Vitamin B-17 it worked very effectively to remove tumors.

Dr Tulio Simoncini of italy shrank a 4cm tumor in 8 days using nothing more than injections of baking soda. It is important to alkanalize and one can consider that baking soda is effective in resetting a bodies ph back to 7. The blood will maintain PH of 7 AT ALL COSTS. So if someone is acidic the blood actually leaches out the magnesiums and calciums from the bone and muscle to maintain blood ph.

And never forget ALL CANCER PATIENTS ARE VERY MAGNESIUM DEFICIENT. To absorbe it fast goto dollar store or grocery buy epson salts (which are loaded in magnesium - and start bathing in epson salts.

If your willing to do these things he will experience dramatically increased odds of a full recovery NO BS. The biggest problem I have encountered over and over again is psychological - people simply don't believe this stuff works, and there is no reason for them to believe that they cannot be healthy.

The kelp may have a much stronger dosage of some nutrients than you realize, and your getting a reaction from it (this is a guess). Of course not I would not keep pushing through. I would reduce my dosing to a comfortable level. I would also consider that Herxheimer Reaction maybe taking place. People can have up to 5 lbs of viruses in their bodies, and iodine was used in the past to kill out all kinds of parasites and disease infections. In short its highly anti-septic combined with the cinnamon. Herxheimer occurs when you kill so many viruses and bacteria out of your system at one shot you actually experience slight poisoning as the kidneys and liver have not had time to remove the dead viral load.

Finally you need to look at if you have amalgam fillings and have taken the flu shot in the past? The flu shot - which has mercury salicylate, and other nasty adjuvants. If that toxic heavy metal settled in the brain, then the iodine is pushing an accumulation of that heavy metal back out of your brain, causing headaches. If so I would want to add cilantro to my diet for a cleanse.

And the final thing to look at is your body simply has not climatized to that much iodine, try ramping up slowly, or stopping at a lower level.

I know personally something in the Kelp doesnt sit right with me when I take it - but I'm fine with a base iodine such as trophic.

I sincerely wish you the best. Obesity shockingly is a form of manutrition. You have it pegged, you gotta try as hard as it is to cut the carbs. The carbs are not bad in themselves it was the modification to the grain kernal that occured in the 1950's when they were modifying grains to make WonderBread and produced a nutritionally low white flour loaded in gluten so the bread would last longer on the shelf.. Kevin Trudeau over at ktradionetwork.com talks about this - he has some good information on it. I always look at the information itself not the fact he was sued for $35 million for publishing a book. The fact he was sued is evidence he pissed off some major league players with the truth.

I would look at adding raw cabbage as well if you can, no diet pops, and exercise as best you can until your sweating - or goto a dry sauna or any sauna so you can sweat lots, if exercising is fatiguing. Breaking into the sweat is going to activate TONS of enzymatic processes, and hormone releasers that is going to start shedding the weight. The brain does begin to swell after 15 mins in a sauna from the heat, so I don't sit in them for hours (cycling for me is better), but its an easy sweat.

The Diet pops actually trigger insulin intolerance, and cause carbohydrate cravings, which feed the hunger craving. Water is the answer.

Secondly real Rye Bread (not the 50/50 mix) does not have the gluten modified flour in it. If your near a McGavins Bread Basket they have the big loafs of good real weight loosing rye bread usually for 1/2 or 1/3 of the $6 / loaf if you don't mind day old.. THAT is good bread. I consider everything else at the store junk, and the workers there are evidence of the white bread products their all big!

Re: My Weight Loss Secret - TRH/T3/T4 Hormonal Tweaking
OP, day three on the new protocol and although i am sleeping very well, today i feel like SHIT... head ache and back ache. here's the regimen: 1000 mg V-C tab, 1500 mcg kelp (iodine), 3 Tbs cinnamon, 2 Tbs apple cider vinegar. Thoughts? push through or scale back?
 Quoting: Frankenstein

Roger that. I'll back off a bit. Ordered the Trophic iodine a few days ago and should be here tomorrow or Friday. Never flu shots and had my three amalgam fillings from the '70s replaced with ceramic two years ago. Hope its the Kelp. Could be combination of other supplements... is there an alternate venue for particulars?

I'm most supcious of the kelp more than anything and it could be sensitivity to something it it. Kelp can have a lot of stuff in it in large varying quantities depending on where it was grown and picked from. See how that works, or for now try small dosages of it like 100 ug equivalents. You'll have to experiment I'd love to see what it was, let us know :)

Re: My Weight Loss Secret - TRH/T3/T4 Hormonal Tweaking

Hi OP,
The problem with the husband is, he is alopathic, and I am alternative. He has let me help him along the way with some alternative, but in the end, it is his choice. I am aware of all that you mentioned.

It does make me angry/sad, that he does not take responsibility for his own health, and trust to much the murdering profit hungry establishment.

As for your protocol, the one thing I noticed my first day is I urinated all day long yesterday. When I was at work, I spent more time in the bathroom than on the floor. I'm sure my employer wouldn't appreciate paying me for peeing LOL!!!

Thank you for helping us with this protocol, and your other words of wisdom.
