Just making a huge guess here, but what this guy UW may have got confused with is this coming approach of 2009 TM8 on the 17th which is next Monday. Here is the jpl page on that one:

And you can see it listed in Red here as far as the distance to the earth. It is down in the 'Earth approaching objects' section. According to this, it is supposed to come closer than the moon is to earth. Should be a great time for photography!

You set a pin for this? I set no pin for doom. I read in the bible once that if enough people pray, then it can be avoided. (not an exact phrase, but you get the jist)...and I can tell that most people don't really want doom, so I don't yet fear!!! :)

OP was right!!!!!!!!

I went to bed last night on the 9th and woke up this morning on the 10th at the wrong end of the bed. Amazing prediction, I didn't even feel the flip although not everyone had such a seamless transition. I just passed a rather confused looking polar bear whilst walking the dog, crazy shit man.
