No. One would presume that if an extra solar body were to effect Earth the effects of it would begin in a gradual "ramping up" manner, with increasing winds, storms, EQ's, etc. over a period of weeks, months, with warning signs well in evidence.

But no.

That's not how it works. The Doom is instantaeous. Pole shift/mile high tsunamis/10.0 EQ's, all happening on Oct 10th.
