Hey, I just did this. The voter registration desk didn't require me to show any address paperwork - that, and a vehicle registration (with my temporary address) was all I needed to get past the trannical DHS RealID crap.

My license now shows a temporary address that I've never lived at, will never live at. Same with my post office box!!!

Unfortunately it doesn't work at all like that. I live in one of those neighborhoods. The rent isn't $250 every 4 years...it was supposed to be $450 a month but since it's the slums the slumlords know they can get away with just about anything so most of them don't even give you a lease and my slumlord has charged me as much as $630 for a months rent because he knew he could and that I was not really in a position to do much about it and have no legal prrof of what the rent is actually supposed to be.

The other issue with renting a slum apartment without the intent of living in it is...how wasteful and shitty could you possibly be? Like you're more important than the poor person who is trying to find an apartment to live in?! You're just gonna rent up a place and leave it empty? That is something that someone with more money than they've got sense would do.

I nearly had to physically throw a census puke off my front porch. They spent months gathering in a coffee shop near here to plot how they they would get onto the local 5 acres properties and get the info that people refused to divulge on the paper census form that was mailed out.

These people were interested in a pay-check and zero concept that they were intimidating people and trespassing under guise of law, when, in truth they were thoroughly OUTSIDE the law.

I try to tell folks about this, but, you know...
It was enough for me when I read about the "day patrols" plane, now I laugh as they furiously patrol the supermarket parking lot, but it is really not funny.
Then the "night patrol planeS" every night just
made me sick, I point them out and folks are stunned,
but I can't stop them.

Census Acorns in my area were the same. By being persistent in trying to hunt me down, the census lady and her family now has the reputation as being part of the Federal Vichy government around here. Not the kind of rep you want in Wyoming.
