Chag Sameach! On Yom Kippur, jewish people become holy again. Two goats are chosen for sacrifice, one goat is slaughtered and offered to God, the other takes all the sins and is let go (a scape goat as it were). jewish people are commanded to fast and their sins are forgotten.
