Re: Kamal Salibi - Arabian Judah Theory
Torah and secrets of the people of Israel( Saqi Books fifth edition / 2002 Introduction to the Arabic edition)
Perhaps the majority of Christians and jewish people today still adhere to professionalism and venerates the Bible texts for criticism and analysis. But many of them, and more than a century of time, they used to accept the scientific treatment of these texts heritage human subject research and consideration. These were not only secular, Jmmelthm In a large number of senior clerics and priests. and the Bible when the jewish people confined to the Hebrew Scriptures, which is called the Torah and the prophets, and books. Christians consider these travel the "Old Testament" of the book, and they adopt a religious on this basis. The "New Testament" Christians who respect only, consists of a collection of writings Greek origin, the four Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles and the letters. Perhaps the Christians dared to critique the texts of the Bible as a whole more than the jewish people did for the Hebrew part of him who respect them. But the jewish people also had and still does such work. and the current book but a new attempt in this field. The theme of the texts of the Torah alone, which Christians call the Old Testament. This consists of all five books attributed to Moses, the "Genesis" and "Exodus" and "Leviticus" and "Numbers" and "Deuteronomy." There is consensus among scientists that the narrative portions of the Torah _ mostly confined to books of Genesis and out _ and the number is actually a combination of popular history, legends, myths, collected and coordinated Villtha relatively late in the time from the date of the Children of Israel. The current book stems from the prevailing opinion among experts and scholars on the subject of the Torah. And the only new method of analysis that might dispel the mystique attached to the way many of the details of the biblical stories did not reach the researchers to understand the underlying facts in its content by means of cash, which was adopted today. For the reader to judge for himself if that were true. has happened in the early days of biblical criticism, between the nineteenth and early twentieth century, the number of scientists have expressed doubt in the fact that the heroes of the biblical stories of Adam to the _ _ Moses historical figures in the full sense. Some of them noted that these heroes who seemed as if his personality, the way highlighted by the texts of the Torah, is indeed the personal vehicle of several elements of historical and ahistorical. But these scientists have been unable to establish sufficient evidence and proof of what they perceived. Then came a new generation of researchers challenged the first observations of these researchers and stresses the unity of personal, historical or mythical or superstitious for each of the heroes of the Bible. But these, too, have not been able to reach clear results, the claim against it, and insist they are, not their predecessors in the field, over the course of scientific track. The reality is that open-mindedness among biblical scholars in the West in the nineteenth century was much wider than it is today. In the current book to some extent return to their perspective with the one difference is that the evidence available today on what they were saying had not yet provide in their time. It was these scientists say in their time that the exchange of scientific of the Torah are not harmed as part of their religious heritage, but also strengthens the the value of this heritage, which must be rejected one day if it continues its introduction on the superficiality, because it contains many things not accepted by the mind. The current book takes the topic the same position. Whatever was said in the order the Bible, it remains an integral part of the heritage keep it holy to Christianity, and rightly so, because the roots of Christian education have their antecedents in the Torah, and that was where it goes beyond the teachings of the Torah without that invalidates the principles underlying them. And stories of the Torah _ must also clear to the reader _ nothing to do with these principles. They are images retained by the texts of the Bible from time immemorial. In accessible and investigation about them fun mentality and understanding of the realities of the past, the ancient submerged for thousands of years. and the current book originally developed in English, published by Saqi Books under the title: (Secrets of the Bible People). which is accessible to the Arab reader of today is not a translator for English, but is re-writing of the subject itself in Arabic by the author. Kamal Suleiman Crusader .. Introduction to the Bible came from the Arabian Peninsula: This was the title of my previous book on the Historical Geography of the Bible, which would reduce the conviction reached in this regard, most would be through the corresponding language of place names contained in the Torah, and those that exist in the south of the Hejaz and the country difficult. has attempted in that book to establish the proof, a set of examples, that the content of the Torah is not correct unless it was considered geographically on this basis. and in vain tried and tries to scholars of the Bible to understand its content, in terms of Historically, as it came from Palestine, according to the traditional concept of geography. The vast majority of biblical place names do not exist in Palestine. And the minority in which there is no match in terms of event with those listed names the same in the Torah. Archeologists still looking in Palestine from one directory conclusively that the country Biblical been there, do not find it. The same applies to Iraq and the Levant, Sinai, Egypt, or on the ground "From the Nile to the Euphrates," which assumes that the biblical history had a Shan direct them. This was fired in my previous book. The intent of the current book but put my theory on new Historical Geography of the Bible to the test to make sure it is correct in general, and to correct the reported errors detailed in the previous book in particular, through the review of a collection of stories biblical familiar in the light of geographical peninsula. I have chosen for this purpose, stories that tell first five books of the Bible, any book, "Torah" in particular (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy), and add to the story of one of the books of "prophets" It is the story of Jonah told by Jonah. and will be adopted in the search, as in my previous book, the original Hebrew text of the Torah, regardless of the stirring classic of this text be modified meanings originally intended in many cases. This is recognized by specialists in general. that this stirring traditional doubtful still dependent on the whole in the modern translations of the Torah, as in the old translations, including the Arabic translation approved by the evangelical churches that refer to them when the need for the interview between the meaning of the origin and concept in the norm. must in the beginning of a word on the nature of biblical texts, which I will address the content in this book. There is a consensus among specialists that the Book of Jonah is the biblical books of the Bible backlog developed after the Babylonian captivity of the people of Israel. and these are exaggerated, it says that this mode of travel around the year 350, perhaps 250 BC. As for the first five books of the Torah, predominates in opinion on three of them (Genesis, Exodus, number) that it had gathered and coordinated the late, perhaps after the Babylonian captivity, from different origins. The scholars of the Torah in the past called these assets are assumed "texts." Today, they prefer to be referred to as "tradition" known today as follows: 1 _ tradition "Alehou," was so named because it speaks of self-the divine name "Jehovah" (in Arabic translations approved "the Lord"). and tradition "Alehou" This is the tradition of narrative exchange is characterized by exquisite brevity and the power of words, some of the differences in style, making those who are specialized in textual criticism of the Bible distinguish between more than mimic "plunge" one. 2 _ tradition "Alalohima," was so named because it is called the divine name "Elohim" (Hebrew Elhim ), ie, "God." tradition "Alalohima" This is also a tradition of stories, a measure of meditation is to go beyond the novel Pure. Add so the difference between personal given to the Lord, "Jehovah" in the tradition of "Alehou", and those given to God in the tradition of "Alalohima." Lord "Jehovah" in the stories "Alehouh" acting just as acting men, likes and dislikes, sparing and ignorant, Yanes and anger, etc. . The God in the novels "Alalohimah," it is more arrogance from the world of humans. 3 _ tradition, "religious orders", which is different from the traditional two being education and not fictional. It is characterized by tradition, its interest in legislation and rituals, as well as its interest in your genealogical. notes overlap tradition " priestly "in the traditional" Alehou "and" Alalohima "where he tells two Altkulaidan stories about certain figures, it comes the tradition," religious orders "and gives these characters Onsabha manner quite different from the story mode. and often came to intervene "priestly" turbid to the purity of style narrative and distorted his novels "Alehouh" and "Alalohimah." There is almost a consensus among specialists that the owner or owners of tradition, "religious orders" are the ones who have collected stories "Alehouh" and "Alalohimah" in the books of "composition" and "out" and "number" the first order, supplementing them what they said of the tradition. Perhaps it was in the seventh century BC. The Journey "Levites" travel "priestly" assembly, note that this travel is limited to matters liturgical, legislative, which travel only between the first five books of the Torah which is not comes to any novel of short stories. In addition to these three traditions, "Alehou" and "Alalohima" and "priestly," notes the existence of a tradition fourth had no effect in the books of "composition" and "out" and "number" not in the book of "Levites" , which is the tradition of the text of Deuteronomy without the other first five books of the Torah. features a tradition of "Deuteronomy" This is stressing on the status of the children of Israel as a people, particularly in the Lord, "Jehovah" and the role of the Lord "Jehovah" the primary in the history of this people. It is widely believed that the owners of a tradition "Deuteronomy" This is who they write down travel "Joshua", travel "judges," and my "Samuel," I and II, and my "Kings" I and II, among the travel biblical dealing with the history of Israel. It is noted that these "Alttnueln" they have historical sources derive from the information and the drafters of their story, "Alttnueh" of the history of the children of Israel. The important thing is that the first five books of the Torah, the Scriptures, called the foundation the name of "Torah", was written originally by one. and these journeys only groups of Aloqasis issued originally from different traditions may have been some writing, have been collected and formatted in relatively late, and added to what was added, and then became an integral part of the perception of the children of Israel to the beginnings of history. There are, of course, other theories for the installation script of the Torah .. from the theoretical stresses the importance of the interview between the content of biblical narrative on the one hand, the content of Iraqi blogs and maize and the ancient Egyptian on the other hand, the importance of the link between accounts of the Bible and archaeological finds between the Euphrates and the Nile. This theory is rejected me, of course, note that I do not consider that there is any real relationship between the Torah and the country . excluded from that, of course, Egyptian blogs and old Iraqi who speaks for the Arabian Peninsula, which are many. have misunderstood the content so far by researchers, They believed they speak about Palestine and the Levant. the researcher in the stories told by the books " configuration "and" out "and" number "to take each story on the unit, analyzes the various elements that make up the order to stand on the fact her. meaning there is to it, I'll take every story of these stories as they are irrigated in the original Hebrew biblical text, was re- read this text Bahrvh population without regard to the movement of Almsora (ie traditional), and analyze its components on this basis in the light of the geography of the Arabian Peninsula, in the light of what he regarded as its framework geographical correct. and this is what I'll do later on the story of the prophet Jonah. The most important thing is that Biblical stories, which I will analyze in this book has been refining them by building on its location is in the land between the Euphrates and the Nile has not shown herself, on this basis. Chapter One Bible stories ..

Re: Kamal Salibi - Arabian Judah Theory
Thank you so very much. Excellent information. I understand Kamal Salibi passed away last month.

Does anyone know if he was ever able to find any evidence to suggest that Israel was actually in Saudi Arabia?
