what the demonstrators want is communistic in nature. the problem is the demands they have are contradictory and cannot all happen. they have no clear goal and will not bring about any lasting change.

This organizational phase has to get off the ground first. It's doing a fairly decent job of mobilizing more people to its ranks. I'd give them a C+.
But tomorrow (again, metaphorical) there will be a new phase. That 2nd phase will be the mobilization of average Wisconsin-Union-like, Americans. That phase will take about a month once it starts.
Third phase will be foreign support. Fourth phase will be martyrs potentially anywhere during all of these phase-lines, but mostly in the fourth.
Then you'll see a rapid rush of solidarity, support, upheaval, groundswell and expansion before she blows in the fifth and final stage. And you don't want to know what the fifth stage entails. It ain't pretty.
The foregoing is relative to the movement fizzling out at any point along the various phase-lines.
My advice, don't let them get to the Martyr phase. After that, it's too impossible to contain and will take on a life of its own and will have to play out with the potential energy behind it as if it were a wave.
Cops. Take the real ammunition out of your guns. Don't allow anyone to get trigger happy in the first three phases or you'll advance this to the fourth phase overnight.
