Introduction and Background

Mullaways Medical Cannabis Pty Ltd (Mullaways) is the first medical cannabis company established and registered in Australia for the purpose of research, development and to provide traditional cannabis medicines. Mullaways is at the forefront of medical cannabis research and development of traditional cannabis medicines in Australia.

There are currently no cannabinoid medicines registered in Australia on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).

Mullaways once granted authorisation - to possess, cultivate, manufacture, produce and supply medical cannabis pursuant to the Drugs Misuse Act 1985 (NSW) for the purposes of research, instruction, analysis and study - will then be in a position to proceede to human clinical trials and for MULLAWAYS TINCTURE to be registered as a medicine on the ARTG.

Mullaways has endeavoured to undertake all necessary steps to bring its medical cannabis company within a legal framework. Mullaways is prepared to take any further steps deemed necessary by NSW Health to ensure that all legal requirements are met and is willing to comply with any conditions imposed by NSW Health to ensure the security of the medical cannabis.
