I use a visualization of a waterfall to represent my aura and how it normally behaves.

I see a vertical line which is the falls flowing away from me. I also feel this as well, flowing out from me like an all encompassing thing. I tell myself that this is a normal aura.

Then I change it to the falls curling left and right, splitting essentially. And then they curl back into themselves up the falls, making this an all encompassing feeling as well. I tell myself this is an inverted aura.

It actually works very well for me, but my body lacks the stamina required to complete the inversion right now. But with practice I know I'll get there.
