You are probably right. But what I can't understand is why everyone wants to protest "occupy" Wall Street and the Federal Reserve but aren't at Fort Knox demanding to see THEIR national treasure, The gold that belongs to the American Citizen

Yeah, I just watched it. Scared the shit out of me moreso than anything I've seen in awhile. Made me want to step up preps even more. Especially the Economic architect they had on who covered his identity.

He basically said the whole economy was about to come down. He lived in what looked like prepper heaven.

Gold is just pavement to God, we put such a high price on nothing but a metallic substance. Sure, it's shiny and fun to work with, but so is glitter Playdoh. It amazes me how we humans attribute such value or lack thereof to one thing or another. We will hand over a month's wages for an ounce, just because of the "idea" of its value. What would happen if it became not so important? Where would stability come from? People who have their trust in riches are on such shaky ground, and don't even see it coming...

I just saw that episode. It's not surprising... Anything they can get away with and keep hidden from the public, they'll do it.

It was moved 10 - 15 years ago. I had a friend who was stationed there and at the time, he said it was being moved out of the vaults.

Thank you! I remember this, too! Maybe something else is in Ft. Knox's vaults by now. But, Ft. Knox is an active military base. So, it may just be guarding itself.

They said a better place to guard it. I don't remember if they were specific.

Bumping an old thread. I saw this rerun the other day. Those skeptics walked away pretty convinced there is no gold. Or at least, they had lots of unanswered questions, more than when they started.
