if the us is doing what i think they're doing, they're brillant.
Recently, the us announced that they foiled an iranian backed assassination attempt. Immediately following this ahmedinejad, leader of Iran, denied such allegations.

Then the us comes out and says the attack was linked to khomeni, supreme ruler of Iran, who has in the past been at odds with ahmedinejad.

Is it possible that the us is just trying to drive a wedge between the two to create instability in Iran?
Game on.

<imo> the us is going the false flag route to go to war with iran, just like bush did with 9/11.

right is front of our faces too(~)
We get the powers over us that we've earned collectively. Humanity, as a whole, is self-interested, shallow, ignorant, violent and immoral; small wonder, therefore, that our leaders (secret or otherwise) reflect that. You want better leaders, become better people.

I forgive myself, I Love myself, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I forgive you, I love you, Thank you.

Love is the answer ~ Peace be with You.

anythings possible, I think its more likely that a country whos leaders repeatedly predict Armageddon and the coming of the Mahdi are trying to provoke a fight and bring about such predictions as their population grows restless and threatens to revolt.

Your theory may have merit as some of Iran's nuclear facilities fall outside of government controlled areas. Previous threads here a few months ago suggest, if America could show cause that the nuclear sites were unsecured they could use that to justify sending in troops to 'stabilize' the situation.

5* OP a conspiracy theory on GLP that may have teeth!

Interesting possibility, but I don't think so. They would throw Ahmadinajad out on his ass real fast if he gets out of line.

5** for a good perspective.

This is what I'm thinking also.....
COUNTRY FIRST

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read:

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.
5. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

The wedge and instability already exists... The U.S. isn't accomplishing that with this story....

Of course, like you I distrust our government. But at the same time, is that hard to believe that Ahmagarbageijad would want to stir up trouble? Especially with Obama at the head of our military.

Additionally, wasn't it the peaceful Islamic Republic of Iran that took US hostages back in 1979 under Carter's reign. Of course, that episode ushered out the weakling president Carter and replaced him with Reagan. Perhaps 32 years later another Iran crisis can help Americans muster up the will to vote out our current weak president.

Then again, maybe it's all planned.

Re: if the us is doing what i think they're doing, they're brillant.
I agree that the us set this up, to drive these two apart opens up the door up for an invasion due to instability. If ahmedinejad believes that khomeni is making these kind of decisions without his knowledge, this is going to create a major power struggle. This is not going to happenin the real world, however, because this is dependent on the question if ahmednejad believes the us. Which he doesn't.

Unfortunately however, the us doesn't actually need to create actually division in the ranks. They merely have to create the illusion of the divisions, which would be enough to suggest the nuke plants aren't safe and therefore an invasion would be justified.

But you have to admit this is a brillant way to convince the sheeple. They don't have to rewrite the physics textbooks this time.

I never said I distrust the government. I just think they are looking for an excuse to finish the corral around russia and china. Iran is the last piece.

If you don't know what I'm talking about go look at where us bases are located all over the world. Strategically speaking, we need Iran.

Yup!! That's the plan. But more are LOOKING for it this time.
I love physics. It bonds us eternally, it's what makes our computers work, it's what's in my morning cup of coffee, it's the thing that keeps the universe from vanishing due to lack of belief...
