Can anyone tell me if GLP helped you prepare for a bug out bag, Doom events?

there is enough on more than enough on GLP to prepare yourself and others.

I am almost ashamed to say that after a year on GLP, I do not have a bug-out bag. But,..I have a list and that's a start.

A plan and a clear head are your 2 best assets. ;-`)

i have always been aperson who believesin the MAYAN CALENDOR and the events surrounding it.i have planning this since 2008.but still an never ready no matter what i have stocked piled.to include guns ammo,food and water,and medical supplies..mental i an never ready hope for the best and prepare for the worst,,,,,,,

I have a BOB in a waterproof tackle box in my trunk, along with a life preserver, blankets, food, clothing, etc. The box is maybe 2/3 the size of a car battery, but light.

It has a water bottle with built-in purifier, a fishing kit with hooks, lures, weights, etc, compass, mirror, knife, space blanket, poncho, first aid gear, various firestarting tools, bullion cubes and water purification pills.

It's based loosely on a kit shown in "The SAS Survival Handbook" by John "Lofty" Wiseman.

I have almost what this person has in his backpack.


Yes i know its a heavy bob backpack, for me,, but just in case i have one in my car that is 35 liters with a portable cb receiver!.
