Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1467479 simply untrue...o.j. and milk still same after 18 mos, same for bread, corn, some canned goods and meat up alittle op must be pricing from a small retailer I closely track most food prices During the height of the corn season, here local corn was selling 3 for $2.59 you might be purchasing Monsanto crap corn and you might consider looking at the code before purchasing. Milk prices generally rise the least however bread and other items contain less if the price is about the same or little higher in cost you need to compare weights. You can make a healthy loaf for about 50 cents, without the added poisons....also To Note I seen the prices for pepperidge farms English Muffins, how bout 75 cents a Muffin!! buckle up, so it has begun...... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1467479 My bread machine sits on the counter more than put away. I make healthy dog biscuits (3 of them), sub sandwich rolls (shape and freeze, to thaw later and rise), have done the same for hot dog buns and hamburger buns. Croutons... So many things you can make, and save money while you are at it. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1467479 This is just the start, I've noticed the same thing. Inflation (sorry Stagflation) is rearing it's head up and eventually I believe we will have something called Hyperstagflation in the near future. [link to www.s8int.com] “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Quote from Joseph Goebbels Hitlers propaganda man. |

Do you really think that people are not noticing these price hikes?? And to say that these companies are not doing well are lying. and top of that...they are laying of employees too. They are taking advantage of the economic situation and acting like the companies are forced to raise their prices. Even Walmart is acting like they are struggling when they get the customers that cannot afford the prices at their preferred stores anymore and are forced to shop at Walmart. This is just a freaking travesty that people are falling for what THEY are doing to the markets. The question is....WHERE IS ALL OF THE MONEY REALLY GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

It is a lovely place, until college starts and the dregs move in for the school year. Crime goes up while they're here. Once they're gone, crime drops back down again and it is somewhat peaceful for the summer. I don't get why people think prices are skyrocketing in only big cities. It is happening everywhere. And if it hasn't hit you yet, it will, count on that. |

Ok look at it this way. Your food went up 10% and your house went down 10%. Average inflation is 0%. |
