Wtf? I am damn sure Toronto had something like this for several years Via the Ontario works fund... looking for info on it now...
Oh and by the way, my 2 cents for what it is worth...
The queen owns all crown land in Canada which accounts for something like 70% of total land mass.
Why not just give / low cost sale land to Canadians since the "crown" has no place in a modern and independent Canada.
Land prices / housing prices are tightly fixed and controlled in this country and it is a damn shame since we are the second largest nation in the world...
Please feel free to correct me, been drinking quite a bit tonight lol...
