Principal Warns Teachers Against Celebrating Columbus Day, Thanksgiving

“’When we were young we might have been able to claim ignorance of the atrocities that Christopher Columbus committed against the indigenous peoples,’ wrote Kennedy School Principal Anne Foley. ‘We can no longer do so. For many of us and our students celebrating this particular person is an insult and a slight to the people he annihilated. On the same lines, we need to be careful around the Thanksgiving Day time as well.’”

It's all just stupid threatening. I don't know what the big deal is. My dad constantly threatened me when I was 11 years old, and it just made the sex that much better.

Because the Jesuits says-so!

In the U.S., the big push to canonize or deify the pirate Columbus came after the fall of the Papal States in 1870. On June 1, 1871, the name of the headquarters of the government was changed from Washington City to Washington D.C., District of Columbia. No expense was spared by the Knights of Columbus to glorify this thief, and murderer. A seal and motto, "Justitia Omnibus" (Justice for All), was adopted for the District of Columbia.

In 1937 President Franklin Roosevelt proclaimed every Oct. 12 as Columbus Day and in 1971, President Nixon declared it a federal public holiday on the 2nd Monday in October.

AGREE!!!!!!!!! 1000%

As an 'indigenous' person, I have fought this for over 30 years, following my grandfather's teaching.

Most people do not realize (thanks to public school's versions of history) that the mass genocide upon the native people's of this land was much MUCH greater than anything Hitler ever did to the jewish people.

And, in some ways, it is still going on.

Don't give me your 'political correctness' rants. I don't believe in it either.

I just want people to wake up and 'know' the real history.

And I want the government to quit breaking treaties (yes they are still doing that as well) and get the "F" off/out of reservations. We have no need for them.

And, for those of you who think the Indians make big money from the casinos - think again, and do your research. Less than 25% (sometimes less) of the profits go to the tribes. The rest goes to the big banking cartel mafias. And they control who is hired and the low wages they are paid as well.redfacequestionwall

Another fascist mind-killer demanding obedience or destruction in the name of collective peace.

These hags make vermin look good. They run to their little hitlerette meetings, and then run out with their America-trashing agenda, smug that the laws make them untouchable, and that they speaking points aren't allowed any rebuttal that they have to consider.

Nasty, vile, collectivist bitches - and so many of them crawl around in school administrations, raping childrens minds and then scurrying back into their secret society holes to eat what they've raped in the dark.

They're not even human anymore - if they ever were.

And they dream of running concentration camps.

90 million Americans exterminated - how does that stack up against other genocidal atrocities? Even Mao's revolution only managed half of that. I think it's kind of like the elephant in the room.
