In heaven is a gulf, when I died in 1993 I saw the gulf. The gulf is a place where the bad boys and girls go. They can see Paradise or heaven and those on the other side of the gulf can see those that must be taught the truth.

When you die, you will go through a bright light, full of colors and at the end you will see the dimension of where God is right now. You can count on it. And any other person in your family will be their waiting for you. (as a matter of fact, based on my journey to the other side, your family that passed has a shorter time to see you, then you have here to see them again.) What? Say that again you might think.... lol Yes, one day with the Lord is a thousand years, and in our time your family that you know will only wait minutes on the other side in that dimension for you. But again, you will have to wait, "earth years" or "earth time" to get to see them. --------------

No, God did not pitch a tent. In the past we had things far greater than what man has made on this earth. God has created things that you could not even understand if you looked right at them. (Speaking from experience from crossing over and seeing things I did not understand what I was seeing or looking at.)

^wish more people were like you. I hate the bible. Can't stand the thing. True or not it makes that God seem like a complete lunatic. I believe in a "creator" i do not believe in religions or the need for a church. I don't need anyone to read the scriptures to me..i am perfectly capable of accomplishing that and more with out the influences of a church. Some people go for the social "motivation" but i have enough friends who live with morals even i look up to, so for me i have chosen not to get involved with religion. Like i was saying, I'm not religious. I am spiritual and i believe in the ten commandments..didn't need someone telling me them either- We all should know right from wrong. But i highly doubt me not considering myself christian and having a different point of veiw qualifys for people telling me i'm going to hell and that i'm evil and a horrible person. So many things i see wrong with this world, even before i stopped being a christian- I watch my child with special needs go down a long struggling path everyday..theirs more to life then just going to church. Love is Love - it doesn't matter what religion you follow or choose not to follow. Thank you for your input!

Thanks for sharing.I am a devout Christian but I do believe that God wants us to seek the truth and he is the creater of all turths therefore he wants us to seek all truths so we can always come back to him and know that he loves us unconditionally.I don't believe in the bible.I believe people used it as religious propaganda and through the years just changed the words for their own un-Godly purposes.But I do thank you for sharing.

I agree with you, however, I do believe the bible to be a good guideline for how to live life. Following and understanding Jesus' examples and parables are crucial I believe.

I used to hate the bible, but once I stopped associating it with religion, it made a lot more sense and I actually love reading it now. Yeah, God is made to seem "bad" in the old testament but I believe He was like that for a reason...

I don't question God, but I do question man. I believe the bible to be guided by many different men, but I also believe it is the word of God, but we must interpret it based on Love and truth...whatever we get out of the bible is based on our personal experiences and beliefs.

In my opinion, the depth of Scripture has been flattened out by (perhaps well meaning) interpreters with an agenda other than to see the overall story/narrative for what it is. Much of what is posted as "Bible based" on GLP is cringe-worthy in my opinion. (Of course when I express that opinion, I'm told, "You're not a true Christian," or "You just don't believe the Bible."

Now thats something i can agree with you on, Jesus is the shit. I have read his story not just for church purposes..But because it was totally awesome. He just reminds me of some kick-ass hero that was misunderstood
One thing that makes me stand out (and get rotten fruit thrown at me lol) is i don't like the cross thing. (you know people/believers wearing cross necklaces for example) I know that those people wear it as a symbol of his sacrifice for our sins..BUT thats exactly what bothers me...He was killed on a cross- To me as awesome as that was..How sad the image of the cross is to. I don't only see the good, I also see the death involved. It saddens me that any lives had to be taking or any sacrifices made..

It's easy for one to jump on the bandwagon and say the Bible is this, or the Bible is that. But as for understanding what the Gospel is, and how the OT correlates to the NT and vice versa, the different kinds of prophecies, and who exactly Jesus is and so on... it takes a bit of homework.

The Bible does say that people will read but not understand. This doesn't say that I'm somehow superior than you are, or you're dumb or anything like that. What it says is that when people are ready they will see. Those with hardened hearts don't want to understand.

One thing you probably don't know about me is i used to be a Hardcore cristian..yes me...lol. But Reading it then, and reading it now didn't change a whole lot. Its not so much not understanding for me-like i said i have always been a spiritual person- i just let go of religion. And yes i have a degree and i'm an intelligent person. So in my none-spiritual portions of life I have a good head on my shoulders I have always made very reasonable choices..Thats why i am comfortable enough to say I think someone messed with the word of god. Sorry. Just my opinion.

The other thing that will prick you more is how could an all powerful GOD allow someone, a mere human, his creation, mess with his own words and make a mess of it so much as it causes confusion and division between his creation. I see no way of this happening, ever. Unless of course he's not that powerful. Many would argue this is not the case and that he is all knowing and powerful.

If then, scenario 2.

What I do see is that this god actually wanted and in fact sanctioned the change of his supposed "holy words" through human proxies people delusional enough to believe are men filled with the holy spirit, to cause the divisions we have in our world today. This has resulted in wars and many christians believe that the upheavals around the world is as a result of prophecy being fulfilled. So this god actually wants people dead. Hmmmm!!! Makes you wonder what concept of a god people are serving or worshiping.

I, for one, have absolutely nothing to do with this genocidal god.

Oh that's a bunch of bullshit! How can a person freely choose ANYTHING if they are being told if they choose wrong God will burn them in hell forever??? That's just like a rapist telling their victim that they can let them do as they wish or not, but if they choose to fight back they will be killed. Do they have a choice? Technically yes. Do they have a choice if they want to live? Not in the least.

This "free will" is nothing more than spiritual rape and blackmail. It simply cannot exist when there are threats pushed onto you depending on what you choose. That's just simple common sense. Take your head out of that damned book and maybe you'd see that.

These guys with their book have so much twisted logic. Not until you take a step back free from all the mind trap can you see the BS for what it is. It all just doesnt add up. The concept of the god sold to people in the book keeps on contradicting itself.

About the freewill thing, how can there be freewill when the end of the book has been written. Seems a decision has been made already so what freewill is in there. Its all mind trap for those that cant do critical thinking.

The key is being able to do that though, many people can't or won't allow themselves to. Pride can be a very powerful thing, as can fear, which is much of what this religion is based on. They can't question because if they do and go away from what they're told, God will get them. With those two elements at play, it can keep one trapped in the system very easily.

On the free will thing too that you spoke of, that's a great point also. How are we freely choosing anything if the script is already written? We're really not, it would be an impossibility. You can't have free will to choose and yet have the entire game already decided before it ever started.

After you truly repented and gave your life to Christ (which I'm assuming you did in the past), I'm guessing you became drunk in the simplicity of Christ over time, and was eventually lead astray from the faith. This leads to believing lies and false doctrines, which will hardened your heart even more. If I'm wrong, correct me.

And why are you bringing up religion? There's nothing religious about the Gospel, and you know that since you're a former Christian as you claim. One is saved by grace (through faith) by the righteousness of God, not of works. Works is religious, and every major religion teaches that you must participate in works to be saved/ascended/etc. Even new age teachings require one to meditate, avoid negative energy, and expand consciousness, etc; these are all works. And works are religious. So don't tell me you let go of religion, but yet you're participating in new age. You're just a religious as a Catholic or a Hindu.

Sitchen's psueo-science is ridiculous, and the garbage you buy into has no solid evidence. It's a bunch of stupid theories made for potheads.

The Gospel requires you to believe (to be saved) and to obey God's commandments (to be fruitful), which aren't burdensome as Jesus said. Why are you going out of your way to attempt to discredit the Bible? My guess is that you're enjoying a sinful life and don't want to give it up.

Your "Gospel" has rules just like every major religion does (which by the way your "Gospel" is part of one!), so it's STILL a religion whether you like it or not as it is still in part based on works. IE: Do this to be saved.

You can ignore it or deny it ten ways to Sunday, but it won't change a thing about what it is.

Since that person already knew your choice, is it any longer yours or that of the person that decided or knew what choice you would make? And why should you be punished for a choice someone already knew you would make when the responsibility of that choice is in fact no longer yours.

Again, how is there any choice when the end to a story has been written and your place in that story had been decided?
