Monday´s a HOLIDAY---Good Day For a Bombing???
How about some pros/cons on staging a catasrophe on a federal holiday?

If you were after mere shock value
-without heavy loss of life- the office buildings would be mostly empty, as would metro streets allowing
emergency response to be faster.

Subways would probably run at lower than normal capacity due to workers being home: another viable target.
Smaller cities run mass transit with limited holiday schedules that would keep extra trains/busses in secured
areas for vital use afterwards.

Fewer people massed in small areas means more police/EMS personnel available for crisis areas.

And, of course: All FEDERAL workers are
at home... allowing a full work force
to maintain continuity during the aftermath.

WHAT DO YOU THINK???

Re: Monday´s a HOLIDAY---Good Day For a Bombing???
Wish I knew the reason why. But personally i think they already stopped the event from happening.

Another reason why I think the nuke will go off in the subway, or underground somewhere will be because everyone will be home, able to watch TV.

The terrorists can detonate a nuke inside the USA underground, and not cause any casualties really bad. This will just prove to teh country they can get a nuke inside and detonate it. They will then make demands that we leave iraq and other places.

The usa will have nobody to retaliate against.

But it will get the attention of the world and change life in the USA forever.

GOOD POINT!!!
I overlooked all the people that would be in front of their TV´s~~~ ALWAYS a major necessity
in getting a ´special message´ out to the populace!

Re: Monday´s a HOLIDAY---Good Day For a Bombing???
Isn´t tomorrow´s holiday Columbus Day? Interesting Day to attack. Columbus Day celebrates the very discovery of America.

SideNote: I actually had a weird dream on Friday night that there was an attack on ´SUNDAY´ (very specific in my dream that it was SUNDAY) but the attack was on the European Continent (Spain, France, etc..) and it was late Sunday *night* to me (which I guess would be early Monday morning for Europe). In my dream, Europe was attacked first, then America, as part of a combined attack. But, as dreams are sometimes non-sensical, I wasn´t worried and I don´t remember these attacks being much more than a means of ´showing what they could do´ (whoever ´they´ are).

Tomorrow is thanksgiving here in Canada.

I´m thankful I´m not American... not that there´s anything wrong with that.
