One sentence that will prove you are not free.
Taxes are taken by force, and are not voluntary.

Taxes are enforced at gun point or with threats of imprisonment paid directly to the Federal Reserve (Rothschilds), and are not voluntary funds received out of any sense of patriotism or fairness. If our country was truly wonderful, and truly great, and government was the answer that everyone believes in, then why would you need to use violence to collect from it's supposedly free society?

Who here believes that people would still be paying "Their fair share", after we all found out about the bailouts, about GE paying no taxes while making billions. No, if taxes were voluntary, government would have a very small box to operate within. No more imminent domain, or corporate hand outs, because the free people would feel free not to pay for it any longer. It would also give the same collective power to the citizens that now only giant corporations and political groups seem to have.

After all, if they are truly our public servants, and you claim that you are truly free, shouldn't you have the ability to fire them? Who here would continue paying if it meant funding our true masters, the Federal Reserve, the United Nations, The IMF, the trilateral commission, etc. etc. etc. None of which you as supposed free people will never in your lifetime have a chance to vote their power over you away from them. But if you were free, you could at least choose freely not to pay them!

In short if you are free people, then chose the path that will set you free. They are not your masters, but your servants.

Who here would continue to pay, if you knew your money was funding groups like acorn? Who here thinks the Government would be acting outside the constitution, if taxes were voluntary?

would free people pay for
operation gun runner?
would they pay for the department of transportation?
would they pay for the department of energy?
would they pay for the bombing of Libya?
Would they pay for cash for clunkers?
would they pay for QE1
QE2?
Would they pay with their labor while they watched their government destroy their purchasing power?

A true vote, would be to vote with your labor, and your pocket book. That would be a democracy, that would be a serious vote! Not lining puppets up in front of the people, and laughing telling people, "well if you don't like it, you can vote them out in 4 more years". How many people have lived their entire lifetimes waiting 4 more years, or voting for the least of the worst.

If you claim to be free, you should be allowed to vote with your wallet. Then they would truly be your public servants, working for you.

Corporations vote with their wallets, that's why they have a greater say in our country than what you or I do. Because they decide if they're going to pay off a candidate, or pay for is run for office. Look at GE, they helped Obama get elected, and bought themselves a year of paying no federal income tax.

Why is it illegal for you to vote with your wallet also?

We get the powers over us that we've earned collectively. Humanity, as a whole, is self-interested, shallow, ignorant, violent and immoral; small wonder, therefore, that our leaders (secret or otherwise) reflect that. You want better leaders, become better people.

I forgive myself, I Love myself, I'm sorry, Please forgive me, I forgive you, I love you, Thank you.

God Bless You;
I Bless You;
Bless Yourself(~).

Love is the answer ~ Peace be with You.

Re: One sentence that will prove you are not free.
who here thinks that millions upon millions of people would have lost their homes if taxes were voluntary. Think about that. The banks created the situation in order to consolidate wealth and grab land. They made loans that they knew would not be paid back so they could get the interest on the loan whenever the house was created and sold, lend money to the contractor to build the house, and then make money from the government whenever the loan defaulted and take possession of a property they otherwise would not have had.

The government would not allow this to take place if they knew they were going to lose tax revenue from the people that are paying.

The government would have a vested interest in making sure you were prosperous. They wouldn't say export all the jobs.

Why do they not care now. Because either way, they get paid. If you can't keep up with all your taxes and payments, they benefit from your default by stealing all of your possessions and auctioning them off to the highest bidder. What if instead, the person that was underwater simply stopped paying the Government in order to pay his bills instead. Perhaps he wouldn't lose his house, his cars, his entire life. It would then be the Government that would suffer for allowing banks to do predatory lending.

Who in their right mind would have continued to pay the government as they watched the government change the rules for the banks during the fraudclosure debacle. Who would have gladly pay in to watch judges change the rules and make up new legal documents that allowed the banks to continue their theft.

5 stars OP. The worm must turn soon
Out of this ugliness may come,
Some day, so beautiful a flower,
That men will wonder at that hour,
Remembering smoke and flowerless slum,
And ask-glimpsing the agony
Of the slaves who wrestle to be free-
'But why were all the poets dumb?'

While just the art of being kind
Is all the sad world needs.

As long as they have tasty treats with the rainbow sprinkles, I don't see how we can do away with the elite upon which we all make ourselves depend so much.

Through most of human history, the elite have depended upon the common person. Now we are so yoked together and technology provides such a boon to the reduction of labor, that the common person actually depends heavily on the elite, who need the average person less and less.

So, in other words, the common person is fucked, best to stop your associations with "them" as soon as possible and crawl your own way out of whatever misery you see in life.

Best advice.

The solution is simple in order to return the government to the people, make taxes voluntary. Give the people a real vote. Let them vote with their wallets. You think we would have a 25% job approval for congress if taxes were voluntary. It never would have been allowed to get this bad.

Give us the right to fire our masters, and make them their servants.

People are afraid that Occupy Wall Street is a communist movement. Who would pay for communists. Communists have to extract money from the people by force in order to survive. They take from the people.

You think people would pay for fascism if taxes were voluntary?

Re: One sentence that will prove you are not free.
The only reason you have to pay taxes is because you have contracted to do so. No contract no taxes.

The constitution gives you the right to contract. Contract law super-cedes the constitution when there is a contract in force.

Stop using Federal reserve notes and operating as a reserve agent and you will not have to pay taxes legally. Redeem your federal reserve notes for lawful money on demand. Pay no taxes. No one will shoot you or put you in jail. But if you fail to comply with the terms of the contract, they will and you must pay taxes. SK

Is this thread turning into one of those "you don't have to follow the law so long as you make your life so inconvenient that no one is actually going to bother coming after you because you spend 90% of your time trying to figure out how to pay for stuff" kind of threads?

Communists, and socialist Occupy Wall Street would not be a threat if we didn't already set up a police state for them to take control over.

If taxes we're voluntary, there would be no police state system already in place.

What goes around comes around.
By that I mean that, when the rich have taken all the $ from the poor and middle class, there will be nothing for those people to be divided over. So in fact, the rich and powerful are creating their own demise by being greedy.

The sooner you lose what you now feel is important (money), the sooner we can all get back to being human and living as free human beings.

Whats the solution? Firstly open your eyes and see that it is all BS. Then I guess you have to decide if you really want to be free or not. If you dont, go back to sleep.

If you would rather trade your position to someone with no legal existence, such as people born in much of the third world, you are welcome.

You do realize this means you can disappear and there's no legal authority to protect you, right?
