2005 YU55, which is 400 meters (diameter) is passing 0.023 AU towards Earth on November 9th. All it would take is a slight push from anything out there to change it's trajectory! The White House/NASA policy is not to unveil any major catatostropy via NEO till 24 hours prior to the event. Of course no one is ever gonna know until it's too late but never hurts to actually think about the fragility of life and how beautiful every second on this Earth truly is! -- As to the Mayan calendar dates...I read that another one of those important dates was 9/11/2001 where we were suppose to have a wave of happiness or enlightenment on that date and they pulled 9/11 to bury those emotions with powerful anger/sadness?
