mag 1.9 Ollerton,Notts uk yesterday

I heard about that on the radio today.

Apparently it happened very shortly after they began putting chemicals down a hole for "shaling" i think they called it - A way to get gas from underground.

Someone said they put an 800 meter rope down and couldn't find the bottom..

Its called fracking .

A 1.9 is nothing really. Ollerton is about 15 miles away from me, and I felt nothing (nor would I expect to from a 1.9).

There was a bigger quake than that a few years back wasnt there?...around the Notts/Lincs area
