From what I understand he was going to try to feed as many starving people in Africa that they could. Tens of millions are starving to death in the horn of Africa right NOW.

Bet that all goes to shit now. Probably another reason they wanted him gone, besides the oil. Africa is truly screwed now IMO.

He also wanted to start the United States of Africa so that western countries would not come in and steal resources and give nothing in return.

An entire continents only hope gone. And the genocide continues unhindered.
