If it was love that broke it - real love - no amount of time, money, friends, distraction or distance will touch it. You'll learn to cope like an amputee learns to function without a limb - but 'better' is a word that will never apply to your situation. The above response about 'i know ur pain' is a bullshit platitude from someone who has read too many greeting cards. The loss of real love is probably the worst thing that can happen to a human being. Fortunately it's exceedingly rare.

Bet he trains 9 hours a day, even on weekends.

Realize that you are a whole person of worth. That your life isnt defined by others but yourself. That you are as beautiful or successful as you choose to be.

You cant change others, or the past. So look toward a bright future with a positive attitude. I know its hard, but you need a distraction from what troubles your heart. Get out there and live. Exercise, and stay active. Take up a hobby or do something you've always wanted to do, but never seemed to have time for.

Divorce almost killed me. But 15 years later, I look back today at what a complete waste of energy and time that year afterward was. Much happier today. And I promise, yours will be too if you focus on you, your trusted family, and friends.

Interesting. It happened to me and never went away, even years later. The pain satys buy you just learn to manage it after you come to the realisation that it will never go away any time soon. I question my life and find it to be very hollow and empty, like I had missed some vital part for everything to be how is used to be and how it should be, but which is now gone.
I go on. The show must go on, Sometimes I try to ignore it and pretend it's not there, and occasionally I even succede become so distracted that I forget about it for a little while, but i's always there, patiently waiting for me to drop my guard.

I went to Mcdonolds yesterday. I came out with a Big Mac fries and a shake. A homeless man came up to me and said I haven't eaten in two days. I said I wish I had your self control.

Just trying to cheer you up with a joke. If your heart was broken he was the wrong guy for you. Mr. Right will come along when you least expect it. Now go out and enjoy the day.

Duct tape...it fixes anything!
