For those of you who can hear the high frequency tone(s)...

Same here......sometimes I think it is due to electromagnetic smog ....other times it has cleared following a huge quake.....I have had it all day just like you.......

As others I've heard tones on and off since I can remember. Sine being a kid I've always considered it sort of a signal of something but have never pinpointed anything. There have been spans of years where I have not noticed it at all.. The last few months it has been almost constant and modulating.

Lately it seems to coincide with what almost seems like low grade sinus popping but no where near the sinuses and up in the mid top portion of the head. Not sue if is similar to the popping others have mentioned.

Somewhat unrelated, but does anyone also see flashes of light when its normally quiet and there is a sudden noise? Typically happens for me when going to sleep and the house creaks.

I could have written this post myself! The flashes of color/light at sudden sounds, non-sinus-related deep-ear area popping (it almost feels like elevation changes to me, but I'm staying still!), the tones, and earlier someone mentioned the "old tv" sound... and hearing them from way farther away than should be possible. The space-warping feel is a very apt way to put some of what I've got going on lately.

thank you for that! I've always wondered what that sounds like.....the tones are not like that at all. The tones reminds me of a tuning fork....at that particular pitch amplified by the pressure wave

Mine is going non-stop today. Very odd. I have recognized and embraced this phenomena for over a year now. Very rarely does it go off continually like this. Anyone else experiencing this?
