"The Occupy Wall Street protest in New York City may have kicked off the “99 percent” protests around the country, but when it comes to passion about not only that cause but others as well, Occupy Denver is ahead of the pack."

Ahead of the pack with a city council member of course.

"That’s the conclusion of an analysis by political website The Daily Beast using city population data and protest rally attendance in their quest to find America’s “Angriest 10 Angriest Cities” in the aftermath of the birth of the Occupy movement."

HuffPo picked it up...

"This weekend, in a crowd estimated between 2,000 and 4,000 people, Susan Shepherd managed to stand out."

[link to www.huffingtonpost.com]

...and conveniently overestimated crowd figues by nearly double.

According to The Daily Beast, there were 5,000 protesters at the April 15, 2009 Tea Party rally in Denver and 2,000 at the Occupy Denver October 15, 2011 rally.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, you've heard a lot here today and I won't try to go back over it all. But you have to go back in that room and make some decisions and there is one thing I want to make very clear to you before you do. I'm not trying to convince you that you should like what Larry Flynt does. I don't like what he does. But what I do like is... that I live in a country... where you and I can make that decision for ourselves. I like that I live in a country where I can pick up Hustler magazine... read it if I want... or throw it in the trash, if that's where I think it belongs. Or better yet I can express my opinion by not buying it. I like that right. I care about it. And you should care about it, too... because we live in a free country. We say that a lot, but sometimes we forget what that means, so listen again. We live in a free country. That is a powerful idea. That's a magnificent way to live. But there is a price for that freedom, which is that sometimes... we have to tolerate things that we don't necessarily like. So go back in that room... where you are free to think whatever you want to think... about Larry Flynt and Hustler magazine. But then ask yourselves if you want to make that decision for the rest of us... because the freedom that everyone in this room enjoys... is, in a very real way, in your hands. If we start throwing up walls against what some of us think is obscene... we may wake up one morning and realize... that walls have been thrown upin places we never expected... and we can't see anythingor... do anything. And that's not freedom. That is not freedom. So, be careful. Thank you."

Most of us here who are paying attention know why the cops aren't allowed to do anything. Because it is all staged to lead up the 2012 election.

At my local occupy they are saying that 50-60% of the occupiers do not vote in the presidential elections. Ponder that.

simply tell them all that the lack of law enforcement/ no health or occupancy codes being enforced ,from this bs to the full tax payer SUPPORT of illegals will most definitely be remembered
in more ways than
ONE.

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION,it is a very distinct possibility that THE PEOPLE FOOTING THE BILLS
will simply wake up and pick and choose WHICH LAWS THEY WILL ABIDE BY
and on a daily basis as well-

for example--over in zoocotti, they are permitting stoves etc--no code enforcement etc
so if I WANT A WOOD BURNER and due to my freekin zipcode and the code,i can't have it ? bs
another example--mosque attendees are NEVER TICKETED for double parking and even parking on the friggin sidewalks in an overcrowded area...........i can't find a spot anywhere ? bs. I'M PUTTING MY TRUCK ON THE SIDEWALK TOO-

let it all loose as we're the assholes here.

I'm really curious to know how many projects the City and County of Denver has on the books where the principle amount of the bond issuance hasn't even been paid down.

I would be willing to bet that not even one dollar of principle has been paid down for the billions of bonds issued for DIA. Then you have the new Mile High stadium, I know bonds were floated for the construction of that new stadium, I bet not one dollar of principle has been paid down.

Folks better wake up to the endemic ponzi financing schemes of our local, county, state and federal governments. That includes all the fictional retirement funds and accounts relying on projected 8-10 percent growth rates of the funds.

Since both events are being organized by the same people, I'd think you'd be more clear on the implications, dick.
 Quoting: WalkersEverywhere

The $100K a week is not all inclusive. Actual cost will be much higher. Personally, I would not spend the money on security. Just fence them off from the human population, and let them do as they will. It doesn't take long for socialists and communists to start killing each other off. Leave them there for a while, then go in with the street sweepers. The press is not covering the violence at the occupy sites. You barely even here about the rape in Philly. In New York the cops have been attacked and pushed into responding with force, just so they can record it and claim brutality. That is why the cops are filming themselves on the street. I say, arrest every one of the bastards when they break the law. That should clear the street within a day of two.
BTW, I support their right to protest as long they they do it legally. Protest is a Constitutionally protected right. Anarchy is not. Promoting violent revolution against the federal government is also not a protected behavior.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
