Back in the spring of 1933, Chicago opened its Century of Progress Exposition as part of the World’s Fair. Its aim was to showcase the progress of science and industry. The first world’s fair the city hosted was the World’s Columbian Exposition, 40 years prior in 1893.

To link the old fair with the new, Arcturus was chosen to open the 1933 fair by using its light to start up the fair’s lights. How’s that? At that time, astronomers had determined Arcturus’ distance to be 40 light light years. That meant that the light that left Arcturus in 1893 during the Columbian Exposition would arrive in time for the Century of Progress fair forty years later.

Four telescopes in several states were equipped with photocells and connections, and on May 27, 1933 at 9:15 p.m. a beam of Arcturian light was focused on one of the photocells. The cell converted the star’s light into a tiny electric current, which triggered a switch turning on the fair’s lights as planned. The scheme also demonstrated the value of the photocell, a new technology at the time

sorry i'll have to look for another image hosting server but the picture i uploaded shows jupiter rising between east-northeast at 7:40 pm as seen here in northland.

Is it still visible? i noticed a large star early yesterday evening and im whakatane ways. It stood out in my mind as i need glasses and dont often notice them but this was prominent.

If it twinkles then it is a star, so it could be sirius the dog star.

If it does not twinkle then it is a planet.

Sirius is only 8 light-years away and is a very bright star.

You think its brighter in Colorado? higher elevation..

It is Sirius rising up in the East when the Moon is about overhead in the South or at it highest point. There is a solar system thread here for a simulation and look at Sirius that is going to rise in the East while the Moon is near Tarus.

It seems way too big to be a planet..

python energy is extremely powerful and brings pure spiritual gifts/power including mastery, prophecy, healing, and basically all supernatural abilities. so there is a huge range of what this energy can bring. it will take a while for your son to utilize it at his maximum capacity but will be well worth the effort

My boy is two extremes.

I am not sure how much you can feel, but we would love some insight regarding what i think is a vortex very near our home.

We have become used to its energy now, but two years ago when we moved here, it had huge uncontrolable effects on us in various ways.

Is it a good or bad energy, i do not know. But it is amazingly strong.

This part of nz like many parts, had a large population in ancient times...

..the thing that I called moon is just what I can call it
because when I saw it without binoculars it appeared very small and round but very bright, not of course as bright as the large object..the small object seemed stationary, but it was very very close to the large object as I said, right above it, to the north east of it...and yes, the large "object" is getting bigger..Ive been watching this "object" for awhile now..but its the first time Ive seen the smaller object.

sorry i didnt get back to you sooner, had my father around and we just finished a bit of a tiff which kinda went on lol anyway like i said earlier jupiter is in retrograde so its going to appear at times bigger, smaller, going in a loop motion, standing still, or even moving backwards along the ecliptic. this will end around dec 25th or thereabouts. heres the pic of jupiter rising at 7:40 pm in the north-northeast from northland area:

am very eager to read that nz thread in detail, have been distracted by other things but all in good time. when you mentioned the tall ones a light bulb appeared in my head. remembered the tall ones depicted in arnhem land amongst other things. years ago i read a theory suggesting they were visitors from sirius but i never bought it. am glad you brought that up!
