Please Pray For My Sisters Grandchildren 5 & 6 Year Olds Hit By Car With Their 6 Year Old Friend (Mia Has Died)

I really appreciate you keeping us abreast of all that's happening with Alyssa. I read each update and my heart is still with all of them.

I wonder if she has spoken again with Mia's family. I would really like to know how they are managing. My heart is heavy for them while it is joyful for your Alyssa.

Hopes more donations compensate this thievery.

Alyssa was awake a lot today. She just didn't want to stay asleep. Her eyes were still rolling around because of the medicine, but when I talked to her or sang to her, her eyes would find me and she'd stare at me.

The doctor is planning on allowing the surgery on her leg to be done on Friday, just as long as she is stable. He wants the bolt t...o stay in for it. He's going to talk to the ortho surgeon to see if he will allow it to stay in.

Her brain pressure has gone up and down today. They're still keeping her cold, so that makes her shiver. When she shivers, it makes her brain pressure go up. Then they give her medicine to stop the shivering, but the medicine makes her brain pressure go up. It's a frustrating circle.

Earlier, when her brain pressure went up, her blood pressure went up to compensate, which is what your body is supposed to do. That doctor said that was a good sign.

My tears for the little angel, sweet Mia, that has departed and for those 2 fighting their way out of this tragedy... :(

There is still a long road ahead in recovery for Alyssa and the mourning over the loss of Mia, as I am sure Rain is also going through a rough time over all that happened.

Her eyes are open, and she looks somewhat alert. That's wonderful!

Heartbreaking to see any little one intubated like that, yet encouraging to see her little eye open and her hair braided.

May she be laughing and chatting with her family again soon!

What a precious, adorable young girl she is and I'm so happy to see that everything remains stable with signs of improvement.

I've been checking her facebook page everyday--the outpouring of love and prayers that are still being lifted up is a beautiful thing.

There is mention on facebook how God never gives us more than we can handle.

That is so true. Many times, in the midst of my trials, I would cry out to God that I couldn't take anymore.

The next thing you know, I'd be on my knees praying, asking forgiveness for my anger and at the same time, receiving mercy and grace to continue. Our God IS an awesome God!

You have been terrific in how you have handled this on GLP. Keep up with the good work.
