One car stopped and waved for the 5 children to cross. She was in the left lane, and the 78 year old woman passed in the right lane closest to the curb/side of the road where they were stepping off the curb to cross. They were with two other 13 year olds one of which I know was a sister to Rain and Alyssa. As you can imagine, I still do not have all the details because we are all spread all across the country from one another. Many are staying at the hospital and updating nearby relatives who are updating on their facebook pages. That's how I'm getting my information. Because of all the connections involved, it's kind of like the game "Telephone." By the time the last person get the information, it's somewhat different from what it started as... but it's close. |
