Our Lady had other requests to make and these were made known in Her message of 13 July 1917:

"When you see a night lit by a strange unknown light, you will know that it is a sign that God gives you that He is going to punish the world for its crimes by means of war, hunger and the persecution of the Church and the Holy Father. To prevent it I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart and the reparatory Communion of the First Saturdays. If My desires are fulfilled, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, she will spread errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church; and good will be martyred and the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. But in the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph."

The red skies were in January 1938. WWII started September 1939. While I do feel they are a harbinger, a warning, I don't see the correlation with WWII which started 1 year, 9 months after the red skies of '38.

The 1917 message applied to WWII and Russian Communism for years after, but I wonder if this message could apply to these same lights we've had over the USA? I'm not aware of any new prophecies which warned of Northern lights over the USA as a warning.
