Hiya ra

Was the wall you saw quite a way along the walking track that goes to the old railway tunnel that the public explore ?

Did you go over to the other side of the river ?

You can go quite a way and see old mines and there are beautiful swimming holes and stuff

Not bad trout fishing there a few years back too

Yip saw people trout fishing, we went over the river on that bridge just past the end of the railway track ending, was only a 30min walk about, will have to explore further next time.

The wall i saw was in that area, behind the main complex, in the side of the hill, no apparent reason why there should be a wall there, the stoneworkship is different as well, makes me think whats behind it.

We will have to go there for a good explore, next time we come down :)

Hi Xeno

Ive seen possible links in the kolbrin to Japan, talks about the Sun People from the East, from the land of Dawning, who taught the people knowledge, Japan flag, conincidently is of a rising sun, ill look into it more :)
 Quoting: Ra 15911002

CHAPTER TWO

THE SCROLL OF KAMUSHAHRE

In this fertile black land there are those who worship the sun and they call it the greatest and the most bountiful among all gods, the Seer of Heaven, the of the squalid manner in which men dwelt before the Golden One led his people hence.

He came to this fertile land. Now it is a pleasant place with many great cities and contented villages; there is the great broad river of fresh water which rises and falls in its due seasons. Channels there are and waterways which lead the fertilising waters unto the growing things, the herbage and the trees. There are flocks of sheep and herds of cattle on the green pastures.

It was not ever thus. In the days before Harekta came all was barren and desolate. Nought divided the wilderness from the swamplands filled with reeds. Then there were no cattle or sheep and the land knew not the hand of man, it lay untilled and unwatered.

No land was sown, for they who dwelt in it knew not the making of waterways, nor did they know how to command the water and make it flow at their behest. There were no cities and men dwelt in holes in the ground or in places where the rock was cleft. They walked in their nakedness or clothed themselves with leaves or bark, while at night they covered themselves with the skin of wild beasts. They fought with the jackal for food and snatched dead things from the lion. They pulled roots from out of the ground and sought for sustenance among things that grew in the mud. They had none to rule over them, nor had they leaders to guide. They knew not obligation or duty. None spoke to them about their manner of life and none knew the way of Truth. They were truly unenlightened in those days.

Then came the servant of the Sun and he it was who brought the people together and put rulers over them. He set Ramur up as king over the whole land. He showed them, man and woman, how to dwell together in contentment as husband and wife, and he divided their tasks between them.

He instructed men in the sowing of corn and the growing of herbs. He instructed them in the tilling of the ground and the manner of cutting the waterways and channels. He it was who showed men the ways of the beasts of the field. He instructed men in the working of gold and silver and the making of vessels from clay. He instructed men in the hewing and cutting of stone and the building of temples and cities. The making of linen and the dying of cloth that forms garments ever pleasing to the eyes, he did not teach. Neither did he instruct them in the making of bricks or the working of copper.

Then, when he departed he bade the people not to weep, for though he went to his father, the sun would adopt them as his children and all could become sons of the sun. Thus many became sons and servants of the sun and they believed what they had heard, that the sun was their father and the light of goodness overlooking the whole land. It is this light that sustains all living things, but within it is the greater light which sustains the spirit. It is the light that enlightens the hearts of men. There are lesser lights that guide men about their daily tasks and shield them from harm, there are unseen lights that influence men for good or ill, but it is the Great Light that banishes coldness and makes all men warm. The warmth it bestows ripens the harvests of man and makes his herds yield their increase.

It oversees the whole activity of men on Earth as it journeys the skies from one end to the other, thus it knows the needs of all men. Therefore, be like the sun, be far-seeing and foresighted, be regular in your comings and goings while about your daily tasks.

When their guide and leader left, the people knew themselves as children of the sun. They were warlike and subdued other people in its name, and brought them under its rule. Then great temples were raised up to it and for a time it displaced the greater gods which the people of this land had set up in their ignorance. The One True God it never displaced, for the True God was ever hidden from the eyes of the profane and ignorant.

Then some priests among those who followed the rule of the sun stole its spirit and brought it down, so that it enlivened the statues and images of their gods. Thus the spirit which enlivens all the lesser gods is but the one spirit held in captivity, and not many as the people think.

Then came the Wise Ones from the East and they caused the people to have other thoughts. They were men who knew the ways of Heaven and asked of the people, "Is the sun spirit indeed supreme, is this not a thing requiring much thought? Consider its movements, are they not more like those of one who is directed in his comings and goings? Does it move about freely as it wills, or is it restricted and held to its appointed path, like a yoked ox, or as the ass treading out corn? Does it rise up from the Netherworld as it wills or go down into the cavern of darkness by its own decree? Is its path not more like that of a stone hurled forth by the hand of man? Is it not like a boat controlled by the will of a man, rather than a free-ranging god? Is it not more like a slave under the direction of a master?" These things disturbed the hearts of people, some pondered upon them, but others, in the manner of men, cried death to those who deny the truth of these things.

However, because of the things said the worship of the older gods grew in strength, for the people had never turned from Usira who was with them before the first water channel was cut. He was not the god of the high born but of the lowly people.

Thisis a land of two peoples, of two nations, two priesthoods, two streams of wisdom and two hierarchies of gods. It is a land where the light of Truth burns brightly, thought hidden away from the eyes of all but a few. It is the Land of Dawning on Earth.

Re: MYSTERIES of ANCIENT NEW ZEALAND and THE PACIFIC
Tauranga, this is the waitaha text i was talking about on the phone. My real father belongs to Te Rarawa.

Urukehu o Nga Tupuna

Again the old seas roared under the influence of the moon and stars, and the Urukehu o Nga Tupuna were finally landing. The red and gold haired of our ancient ancestors were finally landing. Most had perished in the cold of the ocean as the heavy seas pounded their waka to pieces, leaving their waka just a heaving hulk of timber and ropes, their taonga and kakahu awash in the riu of bilge of their waka.

All was not lost, though, for some of the men and women were able to be saved, along with some of their children. It was the arrival of those of whom the elders had spoken and had known would be arriving. It was just the matter of when they would arrive.

These sacred Manuhiri arrived in the current of Te Tai Mahunui. The great storm winds of Te Hau Uru o Tama Ngakahi, the west winds of Mercury, were blowing, and they landed at Te Hokianga Whakapapau Karakia, the returning harbour of all prayers. Their waka were not unlike the waka of waitaha; however, the Ra of their waka was placed in the centre, with the paepae maha in similar line. Those that survived became the honoured Manuhiri, visitors, of the whanau and hapu of Te Rarawa.

Many of the whanau and hapu were the red and gold hair of the Urukehu, thanks to the honouring given by the tupuna who crossed the Tai Mahunui and the Tai Poutini to land in those raging storms. They brought with them gifts of the moko, pattern, and puna, well spring of design.

These puna and moko gave the strong blood of the Tupuna of the raging storms and seas. When a mokopuna was born and the hair showed the red or gold, the elders would say Urukehu before they would report the gender of the baby.

The many sacred waka came from all over Te Moana Nui a Kiwa and were greeted in the same form that seafarers greet each other. Some knew this old form and some did not, yet it made ono difference, because in honour the best was given to everyone who made it to the land of Waitangi-ki-Raro. It was all part of the tradition of the honoured sacred Manuhiri of the land and seaways and the heavens above. All were of a great sacred pattern.

This is a connection through my fathers side, there is also a connection on my mothers side, with the un-identified ancestors burried in the sitting up postion, at our family urupa(graveyard), in the bay of plenty, ten min drive from you....

The knowledge these ancestors brought have a connection to the learning systems(high knowledge) relating to the Pharaohs of Egypt.

Egyptians, Greeks came to New Zealand first - book

JESUS WATCH: Investigations into this unusual rock carving have uncovered that an ancient Greek celestial calendar had been carved into it. The rock carving dubbed Jesus Watch by those who found it was discovered on a Northland farm recently.(pic in link)

The 378-page book, to be released this weekend, was co-authored by researchers Maxwell C Hill, Gary Cook and Noel Hilliam.

It shows ancient maps drawn before the birth of Christ, which the authors said detail the coastlines of Australia and New Zealand.

Skeletons, rock carvings, stone buildings and monuments all attest to people of European origin living in New Zealand for centuries before the arrival of Polynesians, they said.

The artefacts include a rock carving of an ancient Greek ship found in Taupo, a stone pillar with an accurate coastal map of New Zealand showing Lake Taupo in its pre-232AD eruption shape, and carvings on rocks at Raglan.

Hill said a huge boulder weighing several tonnes, deeply cut into a huge circular star calendar and marked with what were believed to be figures and rebuses, was the most stunning find.

He said there was also evidence that showed Maui was not the legendary Maori god-explorer, but an actual Egyptian naval navigator, who steered a flotilla of Greek ships to discover new shores, Hill said.

Re: MYSTERIES of ANCIENT NEW ZEALAND and THE PACIFIC
The URU

The tribespeople of the Kimberley district, Western Australia recall them as “worshippers of serpents” and in Central Australia they are linked with Uluru [Ayers Rock], which to the Aborigines means “Serpent of the Rock”. The Aborigines described them as a tall, pale [ie white] skinned, blue-eyed race.

These traditions are mirrored in those of the Solomon Islanders, who claimed “Serpent Beings” inter-bred with their ancestors, having arrived from the great land to the south of New Guinea. Mummified and skeletal remains of these “Serpent Beings” are said by Central Australian Aborigines to lie hidden in secret burial places, as do the New Guinea and Solomon Island natives. Such claims are also made by the Fijian, Tongan and Maori peoples.

The proposition that an advanced Stone-Age civilisation could have evolved in Australia will seem absurd to people reared on the great archaeological discoveries of Europe, the Middle and Near-East. That I claim this was the ‘mother’ civilisation, from which those of the Old and New World took root, will sound even more absurd.

Just a note, about te Nga Puhi tribe here in NZ

“Again: Ngapuhi–nga puhi, the serpent-race. This race is to be found in parts of India, and plays an important part in early Indian history. My Hindoo mythology is rather dull at present, but, if remembrance serves me, I believe the Aryan race had a long and desperate contest with the earlier serpent-race, and, succeeding, drove these last into hills and mountains, and beyond the seas. Sanscrit naga, great serpent; and puh, race, descendants.

Re: MYSTERIES of ANCIENT NEW ZEALAND and THE PACIFIC
As far back as 1772, Crozet, the French navigator, who came to the Bay of Islands with Marion du Fresne's expedition, noted this and other Caucasic characteristics of the race. Describing the Ngapuhi people, whose stockaded villages page 29 dotted the coast-line, he says, “Their colour is, generally speaking, like the people of Southern Europe.” Some of the men were as white as the French sailors, and there was a young girl of fifteen or sixteen “as white as our French women.” Crozet saw several people “with red hair.” But while noting the numbers of the tall fair-skinned, straight-haired people with little beard (no doubt the hair had been eradicated in the usual way with shell tweezers), and noting also the somewhat yellowish complexion of some, he recorded the presence of the more Melanesian type, shorter in stature, “slightly frizzled” as to hair, more swarthy

Re: MYSTERIES of ANCIENT NEW ZEALAND and THE PACIFIC
hmmmm

“I have seen natives on the North Somali coast who, like many Polynesians, dyed their hair red with chunam, and wore loin-cloths, while the women in their dances went through similar movements to those of the Maori at a haka. On a sandy beach on the southern coast of Arabia I once saw some fishermen curing—that is, drying—sharks, hung on rails in the sun, exactly as is done by the Maori. page 32 Some of the Arab women had blue lips. Besides these resemblances, many of the customs and habits of these people correspond with those of the Maori, hence my conclusion that the ancestors of the Maori were blood relations of the Cushites and Phœnicians, that they spoke a cognate language, and, like the latter, migrated from the Persian Gulf.

In support of this assumption there is the Maori tradition that the Arawa canoe on her voyage from Hawaiki was nearly engulfed in the throat of a great monster, called the Parata, which lived in the sea at the extreme boundary of the horizon. The original of this Parata, in my opinion, is the mouth of the Euphrates, which the Arabs call Furat or Pharat.

 Quoting: Dr Phil 13089269

“As regards the generic appellative Maori, it also, I am inclined to believe, is of Cushite origin, and derived from the Hebrew word Maor, light, just as the gipsies of Arabia call themselves Nawar, from Nur, light. The Japanese named their island Nippon, the land of the rising sun. The Incas called themselves children of the sun, and it is not impossible that even Greece—Helas—is derived from the Cushite, Hel, the sun, to which is added the Greek nominative termination -as, just as we find Eleph-as, genitive Elephantos, from which we get our elephant.

[link to www.nzetc.org]

Africa had several advanced civilizations in antiquity which flourished at the same time as the better known European and Asian ones. However, at the time that Houston wrote, history was viewed through a Eurocentric perspective and any mention of advanced African cultures was considered on a par with Atlantis.

Houston believed the Cushite civilization to be the motherland of humanity. The Cushite civilization did exist, although it was not as ancient as Egypt, and certainly not the origin of all culture. Nevertheless, the Cushites were the earliest known Black African civilization. Reaching its peak between 1750 and 1500 B.C.E., and lasting until the fourth century C.E., the Cushite empire occupied what is now the Sudan, with its capital at Meroe on the Nile. At their high point, Cushites even conquered and ruled ancient Egypt from 750-650 B.C.E. Because of their geographical isolation, they had nowhere near the impact on other parts of the world that Houston attributed them. The Cushites were heavily influenced by the older Egypt culture, rather than the other way around. They left behind fields of hundreds of small steep-angled burial pyramids, the design of which was borrowed from Egypt and scaled down.

More about the Kaimanawa Wall..

Bruce Cathie's View...

Bruce Cathie, a former Air New Zealand pilot who uses mathematical calculations to explain UFO phenomena and the relationship of ancient sites and world-wide cosmic energy grids stated, in 1990, a belief in the wall's artificiality.

Cathie checked the location of the "wall" (grid co-ordinates N103 650056) against his grid system and concluded "that the place had significance, and was of a much older time than that of any known civilisations"...

Thanks for this info

That would be awful if they get away with destroying the Gympie Pyramid

But that sort of destruction of anomalous archaeological sites all over the world is an ongoing global tragedy

Re: MYSTERIES of ANCIENT NEW ZEALAND and THE PACIFIC
VEDIC CULTURE IN NEW ZEALAND

Like the U.S and Southern India – New Zealand is also (being associated with Southern Lands) one of the Naga and Danava lands, and hence Governed by Asuramaya, the famed Architect and Guru of the Demons (Planet Venus). He is also the chief creator of Vimanas or flying chariots of the Gods and Demons, and hence crafts are seen throughout such lands.

The Maori also build their buildings in a Pyramidal style, that we see in Egypt, S. India, S. E Asia and the Americas, which are also Mayan-influenced or Bhargava and Naga regions.

Cave and rock-art in New Zealand have representations of the Taniwha, the Naga-beings mentioned before. The use of Nephrite Jade amongst Native people in New Zealand, is also a Naga-tradition, alive in Naga races from India, to China and throughout the Americas.

Contrary to our modern Historical belief – it is interesting to note of some interesting buried “Pillar-like” structures near Oxford in North Canterbury. Now a quarry – it is amazing that when these pillars are blasted, they naturally fall and form almost round and hexagonal shapes – as if man-made. Perhaps destroyed by earlier mantrastras when New Zealand was one of the older Lemurian lands.

In North Canterbury, there is also an abundance of Nephrite Jade found by the author, which our History books also seem top deny for some reason. Perhaps suggesting that earlier Maori / Moriori before the last Tamil waves brought some more over, had a greater Civilisation or region of such Civilisations than previously believed.

Unusual structures as the Stupa-looking Meoraki Boulders near Dunedin (which are too perfect to be natural), and the Castle-like structures at “Frog Rock” (North Canterbury) and near the Summit Road (Christchurch), also all bear witness to a grand ancient Civilisation here, connected with the Buddhist and Hindu cultures of India and S. E. Asia – especially the Nagas who were the main Buddhists.

Cathie checked the location of the "wall" (grid co-ordinates N103 650056) against his grid system and concluded "that the place had significance, and was of a much older time than that of any known civilisations"...

hi tauranga thx for the thought! hope all is well where ye dwell hf bruce definitely has a grasp on the "mathematics of light" to some extent, its great to get his (albeit "pseudo-scientific") perspective from time to time.

i sense we are drawing very close to significant changes in our world with this knowledge being released right at this most poignant time as certain events occur simultaneously within our world (nato summit, solar eclipse & venus transit, the great invocation, etc]. like you said e hoa: synchronicity!

Giant Wombat graveyard found in Qld

Scientists have discovered a huge graveyard of ancient, rhino-sized mega-wombats in Queensland.

The site in the outback is thought to contain up to 50 diprotodon skeletons which could be between 100,000 and 200,000-years-old.

Lead scientist on the dig, Scott Hocknall from the Queensland Museum in Brisbane, said one of the specimens, called Kenny, was one of the largest diprotodons he had ever seen.

hi harmonic, Tauranga

Riddle of the skull: What was a white woman doing in New Zealand 100 years before Europeans settled there?

The discovery of a yellowing, cracked skull on a riverbank in New Zealand’s North Island had baffled scientists.
Their research has shown the skull belonged to a European woman who lived about 270 years ago – a century before the first known arrival of white settlers in the country.

Re: MYSTERIES of ANCIENT NEW ZEALAND and THE PACIFIC
interesting.....

THE TAURANGA DISTRICT TRIBES

Waitaha are one of the original tribes of Tauranga Moana. Named for the son of Hei, a crew member on the Arawa canoe, Waitaha at one time occupied all of the land from the Waimapu River in Tauranga, across to Maketū, as well as Mauao together with Ngāti Ranginui.

A number of generations after the Arawa canoe landed, a descendant of Waitaha, the great chief Takakōpiri, divided his lands between his two grandsons Te Iwikorokē and Kūmaramaoa. The former inherited the lands on the Maketū side of the Ōtawa Range, and the latter those on the Tauranga side. Kūmaramaoas descendants married into sections of the Ngāi Te Rangi and Ngāti Pūkenga, who inherited his lands and today represent much of his interests. The Iwikorokē descendants of Waitaha have a marae base and settlement at Manoeka (Motungārara) near Te Puke.
