The reason behind not building temples is simple, they get torn down. or set fire to, or a numerous of other things that can happen. Quoting: anybody else out there? 4018050 No one in this country really wants to be labeled as pagan, not in the real target kinda sense and the constuction of a temple does just that. I have always been of the opinion religon finds you. when a god claims you the only thing you can really do is go along. I have a nominal apprentece who just got tapped, much to his own mental stress. You don't find religon It finds you, usually with a sledgehammer. Im just a latrine in a judaic controlled society. As a result, the MSM can get away with taking a leak on me. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 3491247 United States 10/25/2011 06:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My favorite is Poseidon. Lots of things happened from my time spent 'meditating' on Poseidon. We had a lot of rain that year :P and I came up with the Aquatic Ape theory on my own. It strikes me as interesting that he's the god of horses and horses were once aquatic as well. Pan's cool. Haven't had anything "Happen" with Pan although I definitely feel a liking toward all the artwork depicting him, and feel like there is a lot to be discovered, a lot that's been 'lost'. Not sure exactly what a "God" is, or what "worship" entails. I like to include things that give them space, like for Poseidon I include shells and water in my decor. I feel like if they are given room they can make their old truths known, to me it is something beyond religion. |

I believe the term is called Babylonians and most of you will be set on fire. The end. |

We got pan here too, in ancient symbology |

(how to build a pyramid, for example) What did they know of gods that we don't? I wonder if anyone is still alive that knows? I have a lot of respect for anyone who is still able to follow ancient ways. |

My theory is that "gods" are the collective souls of entities in charge of a particular aspect of nature. For instance a horse "god" or "goddess" is the Oversoul of all horses, from which individual horses come from. Called the Master or Mistress of Beasts in the Stone Age. My culture has the King of the Cats-called Big Ears!(wich just kinda cracks me up) And I get on very well with cats because I respect where they come from. I don't so much worship "gods" as acknowledge them as friends. Never been one for bowing and scraping. |
