Anonymous Coward User ID: 4063898 Brazil 10/26/2011 08:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Remember the giant red x that would show somewhere over by the Aleutian Islands west of Alaska when u typed in certain coordinates in google, i think 11133 or something? Everyone ATM thought it had something to do with ELENIN hitting there... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4136 Well it does not have to do with Elenin... LOOK WHAT I FOUND!! There is a Naval Operation happening on Nov 9-10 called Exercise Pacific Wave 11, nothing really to feel alarmed about right? (the dates are suspect though). Here is the BIG FAT SMOKING GUN!! Go here: [link to unesdoc.unesco.org] Scroll down until you see "Sample Tsunami Energy Forecast Map" You Guessed it, EXACTLY WHERE THE MYSTERIOUS RED X IS!!! I posted this a couple of weeks back "Heads Up Asteroid YU55" (can't seem to find it now) Something is up in a very BIG WAY!! IMO great find man, 5 stars from me. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 2022589 United States 10/26/2011 08:57 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | dude an explosion of 26,000 nuclear bombs in the pacific is gonna send a tidal wave 5 miles high inland at least a couple thousand miles. Ocean front property will then be the banks of the Mississippi. it would be pointles to use nukes though. that much radiation would make the entire planet unlivable. and isnt the meteor in question too small to do this level of damage? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 4063898 Brazil 10/26/2011 09:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | FROM ANOTHER SITE. Lets assume YU55 impacts the Earth say in Paris ala Armageddon! [link to impact.ese.ic.ac.uk] I live in Nottingham UK, 320miles from Paris Size of impacter, 400m Speed of impacter according to jpl, 13.7km/s Geology beneath paris, sedimentary rock Worst case scenario, iron rich asteroid Your Inputs: Distance from Impact: 515.00 km ( = 320.00 miles ) Projectile diameter: 400.00 meters ( = 1310.00 feet ) Projectile Density: 8000 kg/m3 Impact Velocity: 13.70 km per second ( = 8.51 miles per second ) Impact Angle: 45 degrees Target Density: 2500 kg/m3 Target Type: Sedimentary Rock Energy: Energy before atmospheric entry: 2.52 x 1019 Joules = 6.01 x 103 MegaTons TNT The average interval between impacts of this size somewhere on Earth during the last 4 billion years is 1.5 x 105years Major Global Changes: The Earth is not strongly disturbed by the impact and loses negligible mass. The impact does not make a noticeable change in the tilt of Earth's axis (< 5 hundreths of a degree). The impact does not shift the Earth's orbit noticeably. Atmospheric Entry: The projectile begins to breakup at an altitude of 10700 meters = 35200 ft The projectile reaches the ground in a broken condition. The mass of projectile strikes the surface at velocity 13.6 km/s = 8.46 miles/s The impact energy is 2.49 x 1019 Joules = 5.94 x 103MegaTons. The broken projectile fragments strike the ground in an ellipse of dimension 0.617 km by 0.436 km Crater Dimensions: What does this mean? Crater shape is normal in spite of atmospheric crushing; fragments are not significantly dispersed. Transient Crater Diameter: 6.51 km ( = 4.04 miles ) Transient Crater Depth: 2.3 km ( = 1.43 miles ) Final Crater Diameter: 8.36 km ( = 5.19 miles ) Final Crater Depth: 561 meters ( = 1840 feet ) The crater formed is a complex crater. The volume of the target melted or vaporized is 0.157 km3 = 0.0376 miles3 Roughly half the melt remains in the crater, where its average thickness is 4.7 meters ( = 15.4 feet ). Thermal Radiation: What does this mean? At this impact velocity ( < 15 km/s), little vaporization occurs; no fireball is created, therefore, there is no thermal radiation damage. Seismic Effects: What does this mean? The major seismic shaking will arrive approximately 1.72 minutes after impact. Richter Scale Magnitude: 7.1 Mercalli Scale Intensity at a distance of 515.2 km: III. Felt quite noticeably by persons indoors, especially on upper floors of buildings. Many people do not recognize it as an earthquake. Standing motor cars may rock slightly. Vibrations similar to the passing of a truck. IV. Felt indoors by many, outdoors by few during the day. At night, some awakened. Dishes, windows, doors disturbed; walls make cracking sound. Sensation like heavy truck striking building. Standing motor cars rocked noticeably. Ejecta: What does this mean? The ejecta will arrive approximately 5.66 minutes after the impact. At your position there is a fine dusting of ejecta with occasional larger fragments Average Ejecta Thickness: 117 microns ( = 4.63 thousandths of an inch ) Mean Fragment Diameter: 681 microns ( = 26.8 thousandths of an inch ) Air Blast: What does this mean? The air blast will arrive approximately 26 minutes after impact. Peak Overpressure: 2210 Pa = 0.0221 bars = 0.313 psi Max wind velocity: 5.15 m/s = 11.5 mph Sound Intensity: 67 dB (Loud as heavy traffic) |

They want to make sure our enemies can get close and spy on us. Come on people, this is just silly! So yes, you are wrong. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 4063898 Brazil 10/26/2011 09:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been doing a bit of research on the relationship between Elenin and asteroid 2005 YU55. On Nov4 th according to jpl orbit diagram the earth will be crossing Elenins orbit thus passing through any tail or debris that it is dragging behind it. Also on Nov 4th asteroid 2005 YU55 is most likely to be passing through the debris and on this day is only 0.0392AU from Earth. The closest YU55 is predicted to pass Earth is 0.0022AU, most probably without taking into account Elenins effect YU55 is approx. 400m in size or 1300ft Lets hope that Elenins tail or following debris doesnt perturb YU55 into a direct collision with Earth!!! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 4063898 Brazil 10/26/2011 09:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | NASA Radar Clicks Asteroid's Pic - [link to www.nasa.gov] "At one time we had classified 2005 YU55 as a potential threat," said Steve Chesley, a scientist at JPL's Near-Earth Object Program Office. Prior to the Arecibo radar passes on April 19 thru 21, we had eliminated almost all upcoming Earth flybys as possibilities of impact. But there were a few that had a low remaining probability of impact. After incorporating the data from Arecibo, we were able to rule impacts out entirely for the next 100 years." AND IF THEY ARE WRONG? WE ARE FUCKED! |
