I worked in a meat packing plant & Halal meat is HALAL meat - live before slaughter. The plant I worked at has that lady from America Temple Grandin ( [link to www.youtube.com] )



who comes over to make sure the cattle are handled as humanely as possible before slaughter. She lays down in the pens & if anything can 'scare' an animal it has to be fixed. Unnecessary adrenaline = bad tasting meat.
We don't use pink slime or meat glue & there is plenty of grass fed cattle available.
