From the videos posted, I saw a large crowd blocking off access to a street. Without a permit, that becomes disturbing the peace. Screaming obscenities with the intent to incite violence is disturbing the peace. Disturbing the peace is illegal. They aren't 'standing up for my rights'. If and when I choose to protest a cause, I'll make sure I actually do it peacefully and in accordance with local laws.

What the police were doing is called 'crowd dispersement'. They gave fair warning. They told the crowd to leave the area in x amount of time, or they would begin using gas and other non-lethal means of getting them out.

I didn't see a single shred of evidence of police brutality in those videos. Those kids were evicted from a plaza that they were illegally occupying, and they came back to attempt to re-occupy another area illegally. It's not helping anyone's 'cause' if the protesters are acting like a bunch of lunatics.
