You are talking about the 5th & 6th trumpets. Read Joel Ch 2, as it seems very much like the 6th trumpet. I try to stay open and not dogmatic on the apocalypse. We will need the grace of God and Christ to see through the deceptions of that time.
I am not sure about the timing of the rapture, but I do not look forward to being present for any part of the tribulation. I pray for grace in that time.

Yeah, but who's ever heard of any biological system moving that fast. I mean, one scratch and then BOOM you're a zombie? Naaah, you'd have to take into account actual incubation times, how long it takes to present itself, whether or not it's spread before or after symptoms are present, etc. I believe the fastest virus from incubation to symptom presentation is 12-36 hours (norovirus), and sometimes as quick as 10 hours. The damn thing needs to actually infect target cells, take over its system, replicate, and burst. That takes time. Cells just can't move/produce at "28 Days Later" speed.

The virus is mental, not physical. It's made up of a series of simple ideas passed by casual contact.

I think the demonic spirit in the "south beach cannibal" MAY be a harbinger of gross spiritual evil and violence that may be visited on America at some point on a wider level in the not too distant future.

What we see with this guy in Miami is a LITTLE glimpse of what the devil wants to do to America.

Here's something that happened in Nanking, China. What looks like the same demonic spirit preceded one of the biggest outbreaks of unbridled violence the world has ever seen.

Ever read the book "Hostage To The Devil?" Great insight to the devil's strategy.

The author was a vatican priest who left the priesthood and warned about pedophilia in the church DECADES before anyone saw it. Anyway, he was an exorcist and writes about 5 graphic exorcisms. The book begins with the true story of the most gruesome of an attempted exorcist of a man named Thomas Wu in Nanking, China in 1937. This was during the war and Nanking was next on the list to be invaded by the Japanese who get there two days later.

Don't have time to get fully into the story, but Fr. Michael Strong attempted to exorcise a man named Thomas Wu who was cannibalizing people---he found Wu naked in a barn eating people--stunning similarities to the south beach cannibal.

Two days later, the most murderous acts took place in Nanking when the infamous "Rape of Nanking" occurred.

Iris Chang wrote about this in the book The Rape of Nanking. Some of what she found:

"...the kinds of torture that were visited upon the residents, including live burials, mutilation, "death by fire", "death by ice", and "death by dogs".

Based on the testimony of a survivor of the massacre, Chang also described a killing contest amongst a group of Japanese soldiers to determine who could kill the fastest.[20] On the rape that occurred during the massacre, Chang wrote that "certainly it was one of the greatest mass rapes in world history."

She estimated that the number of women raped ranged from 20,000 to as many as 80,000, and stated that women from all classes were raped, including Buddhist nuns. Furthermore, rape occurred in all locations and at all hours,] and both very young and very old women were raped. Not even pregnant women were spared, Chang wrote, and that after gang rape, Japanese soldiers "sometimes slashed open the bellies of pregnant women and ripped out the fetuses for amusement".

Not all rape victims were women, according to the book, Chinese men were sodomized and forced to perform repulsive sexual acts. Some were forced to commit incest—fathers to rape their own daughters, brothers their sisters, sons their mothers...."

The point I'm trying to make is that the this act in Miami is not random--not just one "mentally ill" guy and is also tied to something bigger happening in the spirit realm.

that's because they're not "alive"... can't kill something that's not alive... prions are molecules... they don't have a metabolism. they cause chain reactions in organic matter to break down...

on another note.. since we're being predictively programmed to accept the reality of a zombie apocalypse... you must also accept the fact that we're being predictively programmed to accept the reality of humans mutating into super-humans... (homo novus) .. ie: the second coming..

Damn good movie. Zombie/infected flicks are always good.

But offcourse 28 days/weeks later,infected might be more real.
