Boilers, chillers, all types of A/C systems, humidification, dehumidification, pressurization. It's a nice, well rounded shop to work for. ------ Very cool! My air exchange is in the attic. I think that's what you call it. They must have built the house around that dang thing. That unit after the a/c runs a while, it drips through the ceiling. My dad tore the ceiling out to get to it. The pan had rusted, so that's why it drips, down through the rusted cracks. So we rigged a new pan with caulk to seal around the unit, and it worked for a few years. Now it drips again. So, when it begins to drip, I turn the power switch off on the compressor and run only the fan to dry the water out of the pan. It works quite well, for a riggin'. Once they get into school, they are establishing identity among peers, and need boldness, and surefootedness. When home is rocky then they could also have a rocky road. I think that's what you call it. They must have built the house around that dang thing. That unit after the a/c runs a while, it drips through the ceiling. My dad tore the ceiling out to get to it. The pan had rusted, so that's why it drips, down through the rusted cracks. So we rigged a new pan with caulk to seal around the unit, and it worked for a few years. Now it drips again. So, when it begins to drip, I turn the power switch off on the compressor and run only the fan to dry the water out of the pan. It works quite well, for a riggin'. Just gotta be on your toes...and always have a pan to catch any drips. :) Is the new pan already rotted? Is it a direct replacement of the original one or did you rig a new pan underneath the unit? ------ Nah, I think the caulk has probably broken loose. We rigged a new pan underneath the old, so that is why I think the caulk needs to be replaced and re-rigged. :) But I didn't want to get into it until the season was over. My daughter just turned 3 and wasn't really effected so much by the divorce but my son was. He's 5 now and he's come around pretty well over the last year or so. It took a lot of effort to get things settled down but I couldn't be happier considering the situation, with the way things turned out. ------ That's a good thing. I think young or old, children are affected by the situation. But if it must happen, I believe the younger the better. Once they get into school, they are establishing identity among peers, and need boldness, and surefootedness. When home is rocky then they could also have a rocky road. But at their age, they will be strong to take on what's ahead of them. Being there for them, with that amicable relationship, is the most important thing. They grow up very, very quickly...if you blink, one could miss it. By the age of 12, they are basically grown anymore. Yeah, that's pretty much what most people were telling me, about the younger they are, the better. There was so much uncertainty as the separation/divorce was happening but I get to see them twice on weeknights and even weekends that I don't usually have them, she's been good about letting me take them on special trips and things like that. ------ |

I don't have any say on where she works and lives so I just kinda have to deal with the situation. Then on the other weeknights I usually have scheduled overtime maintenance at one account I work at.
