Protesters took to the streets of New York and Oakland in force last night as anger boiled over after a two tour Iraq veteran was left seriously injured when he was blasted in the face by a police tear gas canister.

War hero Scott Olsen, 24, was hospitalised in a serious condition after he suffered a fractured skull during a march with other protesters in the Californian city on Tuesday night.

Questions were today being asked of how police handled the situation after videos emerged of an officer throwing a gas canister into the crowd after they had rushed to help Mr Olsen, who was on the floor...

This is very upsetting. Why are the police shooting tear gas at peaceful protesters? They are employed by our tax money to serve and protect the people. They are not employed to be a standing army for the elites.

Shooting tear gas canisters at head level from 12ft away IS use of deadly force.

They train these pigs in the use of these weapons and I guarantee you right there in the manual it tells them to fire them either up or down towards the ground and not a head or even body level and explicitly say NOT to fire them at people's heads as it can kill or permanently disable someone.

ISRAEL... I kid you not......just reporting what I heard,,,,.
