When someone shoots their own credibility and shows me that they're lying, I don't give anything else they say any weight. You would do the same to me if I lied like that, and rightfully so. For the same reason, I disregard everything the "Skyview team" says, and rightfully so. Truth means something, and when you mislead people and are caught doing it there are repercussions for your credibility.

I look at it like this... the images from NASA that were taken on the moon would be still images on film, thus (obviously) not digital.

That being the case... how can this guy making the video "slice through layers" of an image that was taken from a single frame on a roll of physical film?

I admit that I am not a photo-editing genius... but something doesn't make sense about that whole process to me.

This would be a good analysis but there is one problem - the photos taken on the moon were not digital photos, the images were taken with Hasselblad camera's using 70mm film.

Any manipulation of the photo's would have been done on the negative so that when printed, the alteration would be transfered to the print. It was only in the past 20 years have they been scanned digitally and published as digital images.

It's kinda like making a copy of a copy of a copy of a picture and then trying to do an analysis of it - the picture is too corrupted.

I don't care if something is even 100% wrong in the first 49 seconds (I never claimed that ANY of it was accurate if you read my first post), the fact you are so closed minded to even not consider ANY of it or even watch it, is questionable.

Yup. When someone pretends to be capable of proper photographic analysis of the apollo imagery and starts right off with lying about NASA covering things up in an image which is in fact just stitching artifacts in a second hand processed panorama, they have no credibility as a source.

Well, you should. Anyone who knows the first thing about actual digital image analysis and handling would know that it was completely wrong. He knew damn well it was a panorama too, it was even present there in the filename he showed at the top left corner where it said "pan" in part of the name! The guy's a charlatan, that's all I needed to know. I do not tolerate liars, you apparently do, but you won't tolerate someone who doesn't tolerate them. Priceless.

I would not be shocked to know that we have been to the moon but it would have to be through alien technology and not some NASA shuttle trying to get through the Van Allen radiation belt and tinker toys covered in gold foil.

Side note: The perks of all this was that I got to meet Donny and Marie (Grandma was the Osmond's nutritionist). Sounds funny now but when I was 6-8, it was super cool. In '74, I was at my grandparents house one day when Buzz Aldrin came over. He had tried to give me an autographed diecast model of the Apollo which really struck a nerve with my grandfather. He became so enraged by it that he began to scream at Buzz. After about 20 seconds of yelling, I got to see my grandfather punch him (Aldrin) square in the nose and dot his eye. -- Oh what a life!

The last image in the video was interesting. It looked like the astronaut was leaning forward staring at something and POINTING... then once it zooms to the reflection, if you look at the astronauts own shadow, the pointing finger is pointed directly at the object in question...
