So I'm me, and I have my own value, but what if you don't particularly like me or agree with me? Why should that matter in any way? You don't have to "love" me, what if I don't even WANT you to "love" me? What if I don't want anything to do with you? Why would that be a problem?

And as far as equality goes, it was only ever meant to be, equality before the law, meaning, you wouldn't have one set of rules for one group of people and another set of rules for a different group.

And equality before God, you can make of that what you will.
