We recently participated in one of these shows. Any questions? I have some answers now....
Quoting: Southern OR How did the taxes affect you keeping what you got? Taxes...good question. The contributions are not a "write off" for the companies that participate and "donate". If it was a donation then the homeowner would be responsible for taxes. So they consider all the labor and material as a "gift" so no taxes due to the homeowner and no write off for the business that contributed materials/labor.
