Sorry donīt have a link - But - I have heard it twice now on CNBC in the past couple of days. The guest today is the Chief Investment Stratagist for Charles Schwab. Apparently, there has been a panel of "Experts" meeting in Washington over the past couple of days to discuss way of revising the Tax Code. They are recommending that the mortgage deduction either be done away with or capped at 325K (Loan Value) They are also recommending a repeal of the Alternative Minimum Tax rate. Probably still needs to pass congress but that it what they said their recommendations included. If they go through with this, combined with increasing interest rates - say goodby to the Housing Boom! AND the Stock Market along with it. |

They already did away with deducting credit card interest and just about every other deduction available to the little guy. They have now rammed through bankruptcy laws that exempts corporations and screws the little guy. Lets face it, the fix is in to help Corporate America. Why is it that IBM, GM and many other fortune 500 companies pay NO TAX and working people keep getting screwed. A meltdown is coming |
