Down the Rabbit Hole 10-29 A New Beginning
After Oct 28, 2011 that is the end of Mayan Calendar on "Old" human consciosness, the next phase is "Unity consciosness" that will begin now.

But the title is "down the rabbit hole" seems odd.

When I clicked on this thread, I thought it was going to be about iMix playlists.. looks like I got it wrong!

doh

Making your iMix playlists work in iTunes

iTunes 4.5 and later includes a fun feature called iMix that allows you to share a playlist (including song name, artist name, album title, and more) with other people on the iTunes Store.

An iMix can only contain tracks that are available for sale in the iTunes Store. When you upload playlist track data, an automatic procedure determines whether the song is available from the iTunes Store.

iTunes Store track
If a track was purchased from the iTunes Store (.m4a file) or is from a preview dragged in from the iTunes Store, the match is exact.

Tracks encoded from CD
If a track did not come from the iTunes Store (for example, an MP3, AIFF, or WAV that may have been imported from an audio CD), the match is performed via a search method. With the search method, the match will depend on how closely the track data matches the data in the iTunes Store. In many cases, these will be the same. For example, an MP3 with the track data "U2/The Joshua Tree/Bullet the Blue Sky" would successfully match.

If a match is not made
In other cases, however, your track data might differ enough from the iTunes Store track data that a match is not possible. For example, an MP3 file with the track data "Miles Davis/Ascenseur Pour L'échafaud/Sequence Voiture (Take 2) (Sur l'Autoroute)" would not be able to match the iTunes Store track data "Miles Davis/Ascenseur Pour L'échafaud/Sequence Voiture (Take 2)".

You can use a iTunes Store preview in the playlist in place of the actual track. Alternatively, the track data could be edited to match the data in the iTunes Store.

Tip: Do not use profanity in your iMix title or description as it will not be published.

it is true that most stupid people are conservative.
