Apple cider vinegar is making my hair grow back!

it's not "very acidic", only about 5%. Also, it can be put directly on the scalp. In fact, many homemade shampoos are made with raw ACV as an ingredient. The shampoo I buy from Moroccan Method is actually a raw ACV-based shampoo and it's the best I've ever used.

Why do people give out bad info on this site? Damn.

I have been taking a tbsp of vinegar, lemon juice, and honey (local) everyday for about a month. Mix it with warm water and drink.

I took it just to see if my allergies improved, but guess what....I lost one dress size as a result. Was not aware that vinegar helped to lose weight.

I have tried for years to lost about 10 pounds. However when you hit 55 it gets difficult. Nothing worked so I just gave up to being a size 10 forever.

Now I wear an 8 and look and feel so much better.

I even have my son trying it now!

Added to warm water it makes a good rinse. Instead of vinegar you can also use lemon juice.

I'd like to point out that apple cider vinegar is not a miracle cure for hair loss. I checked out the first link OP recommended and they state that acv only helps in the case of hair loss being caused by a fungus. However, most men suffer from male pattern baldness which is caused by DHT. So far i haven't read any scientific studies that indicate that DHT can be lowered by an oral intake of acv. So it may work for some (as in the case of OP), but not for everyone.

I can confirm this as well, my hair line is slowly coming back also don't have the drasted widow's peak on my head anymore.

Another great way to take ACV is to pickle onions with it.

I use my old honey jars that still have some honey round the glass to give that extra bit of sweetness.
If my going to eat the onions within the next couple of days I use 100% ACV in the jar. If I'm going to leave them for a week or so I use 50% ACV 50% filtered water. You can use the same mixture for some time, just keep adding oinons when you have finished the jar full.
I then use the liquid mixture by putting a tablespoon in the bath water as a cleanser and purifier.

The oinons(organic best) taste far better then using malt vinegar and you get your dose of ACV each day.

Of course alcohol would somewhat do the same thing, however I donot think it would work so good considering all the places where you need to be putting it. Alcohol in the ears is ok; on the skin, hands and feet is ok; on the scalp, every day for a while, is great for getting rid of dandruff . . . until you get reinfected that is.

Has anyone experienced that the hair falling out gets worse before it gets better. I have been rinsing with 50% ACV for about a month but drinking it only for about 2 weeks. My hair feels and looks much better but the amount falling out has increased. My hair gets worse falling out anyway in the summer but I was hoping it would be better this summer with the ACV. Any thoughts?

Pharmacist at the CVS (i had heard doing a liver cleanse would help my sinus probs so i asked him where i could find liver cleanse and he said they don't sell it and to take ACV with lemon to correct ph balance)told me that when you take ACV for sinus probs to take lemon with it because its the combo that WORKS!

While showering, put about 2 tablespoons of baking soda into your hand and mix in a tiny bit of water until it's a paste. Rub the mixture gently all over your scalp.

Then rinse your hair with 1/4 cup of ACV mixed with 3/4 cup of warm water. Let it sit on your hair for a few minutes if you want. I always do. You can rinse the ACV out afterwards, or leave it in. I rinse it out for a few seconds and then I'm good to go.
