We are all so sad from this. Not even sure why I am posting this? It's heartbreaking when pets pass away, your particular experience was harrowing. One of my Guinea pigs died in my arms last fall...it truly broke my heart - and losing a pet has always been harder for me than losing a human... I've always wondered how I'll continue if my 4 year old male border collie dies. He is amazing. If you plan someday to get another dog, I would highly encourage you to get a male border collie puppy. Incredibly smart and cuddles like a baby bear. |
