That's right, this BEST study was funded by the evil Koch billionaires, who expected the verdict to show that climatologists were wrong. It actually completely vindicated what they've been saying and showed that the Hadley Research Center had been underestimating warming by quite a bit.



That scumsucker Anthony Watts had been saying he would accept the results, chips fall where they may, but of course he was lying again. His objection is that it hasn't finished the peer review process, but none of the denialist bullshit he pushes on his crappy website while shilling for Big Oil is peer reviewed science.

We've only been out of the last great ice age for a mere 10,000 years. If we don’t warm we freeze. It is looking more and more like were going back to the cold. More then 80% of earths history has been under ice.

Right now I think we are heading into a solar grand minimum that will last 2 cycles producing a very different world compared to what we have experienced over the last 30 years.


There are two types of global cooling - one is solar output modulation as discussed, but lets look at the other. Over the past several million years the planet has spent around 80% of its time under ice. There is a regular pattern as discovered in the Vostok ice cores that show us a roughly 100,000 year cycle of ice ages. Mankind for the past 11,000 years has enjoyed the Holocene which is an interglacial or warm period that will soon come to an end. The outer planets over long periods influence the shape of the earth's orbit via gravitation perturbations. This has the effect of changing the way heat is received from the Sun which leads to a gradual build up of snow/ice that does not melt during summer in the northern hemisphere.

Just 3-5 degrees colder and a ice age would get a grip on us all.

I don't know very many people who don't believe in climate change, that's obvious to everybody. You don't need a degree to figure that out.

The problem is there is nothing we can freaking do about it.

With all of those contrails up there then there is bound to be some trapping of heat.

There are many plans underway to attempt to stave off global warming using largescale geoengineering projects, some more dangerous than others. That's where it's going. While ignorant fools deny the overwhelming science with their various idiotic pet theories, the real science is headed towards a geoengineering solution since governments refuse to do anything substantial to cut greenhouse gas emissions.

I believe global warming will result to a geomagnetic pole reversal, which will in turn result to a new ice age.

Record snow falls and super typhoons are signs that a geomagnetic pole reversal is already underway due to global warming. It's quite a paradox actually :)

The issue is whether it is caused by human carbon dioxide emissions.

The answer to that is no and Al Gore can't blame all of mankind for the erratic weather whilst living in a home that has a carbon footprint 20 times that of a normal human being.

Also don't forget that this is not peer reviewed also this is only land based temps so only 30% of the earths surface

Im amazed that people still think this is to do with oil.

He took data that had already been 'corrected' by global warming fanatics that came from machines that can be off by 5 degrees F. and use the results to prove that the world has warmed by a fraction of a degree.

The Koch brothers must be stupid to invest their money with this idiot. Or they could be trying to make some money off of carbon credit trading. It was Enron that originally dreamed up the idea of carbon credit trading and Al Gore made millions off of that scam.

People believe things based on what they have experienced in their own life times. Humans perceive a year as a long time & 10 years as a very long time. But in reality what we think is a long time is just a blink of an eye to the earth. Even 100 years is a very short period of time.

I made a very bold prediction a few months back on this winter, saying we’ll have a few more bad winters in a row. Even the news picked it up. But this does not mean global cooling because we will have a few colder years in a row in the NE states. Just the same a rise in temperature over the course of 10 years does not mean that global warming is real. These are just natural fluxuations over time. No industry created the little ice age.

Who are we to say this is the ideal temperature of the earth? Maybe for you this is a great temperature but for someone who lives in Egypt or Northern Siberia they may have a very very different opinion on the weather.

The Earth will do what it likes regardless what you and I believe or do. You can yell at the clouds all you like but they will not yield to you.


Remember: Seeing and believing are both often wrong.

Exactly. If global warming is true then its not caused by man and thats what they will not admit. The Sun seems to be heating up. When I was a kid the Sun was orange now its bright white.

Another clue is that not just earth but all planets are heating up. I don't think they have humans on Mars or other planets. Also, what could be making the Sun warm up? Could it be Planet X? If main stream science would keep an open mind and look at all the possibilities instead of jumping to the conclusion that its us evil "useless eaters" then maybe humanity could eventually get somewhere but no, like everything else those greedy bastards have to falsify the data to make things come out the way they want it too.

I agree, things have not warmed for around a decade. There are several places around the world who have had colder winters than normal.

Global warming is a hoax. Climate change is real.

Where I live we used to have 4 pronounced seasons, these days you can have 4 seasons in one day plus one day can have a top of 30 & the next it can be 15. It didn't used to be this pronounced. Our weather bureau often gets the forecast wrong as it's got pretty much impossible to accurately predict what will happen which makes it quite funny to think that they can predict what will happen with weather in 10 or 20 years time.

Xmas day always used to be hot but now it's often cool despite being summer. We've had mild winters for years but this winter was colder & wetter than we've had in a while.

We've also had a tropical thunderstorm that dropped over 100mls of rain in an hour which caused flooding despite not being in the tropics in Feb this year. We also had incredibly humid days & nights last summer, so humid my carpets got damp underfoot after several days and nights of high humidity.
